We both were fast asleep after a long day. The next morning Tinker was licking my face and kneading her paws on my blanket.
"I know that I'm not spending much time with you but forgive me this once. When everything is settled, we'll be out for some walk." I squeezed her and took her out without waking up Ivy.
After giving Tinker her food I went in for brushing when suddenly....
"Hey doll, did you miss me?" Jasper standing beside the mirror and smiling
"Oh God, when will you stop appearing in front of me like this? and doll???? You are getting way too romantic than I thought."
"Shouldn't I be?" He asked pulling out my pony.
"You better be." We laughed and kissed.
"When are we planning to leave? Did we exactly find where she lives? I asked resting on his shoulder.
"Today afternoon. Yes, we did find her and she already knew we are here in search of her. Start getting ready and don't forget to take your spell book and spell stuffs. Before reaching there make sure to calm your inner-self and remember not to get distracted to any of her casting." He massaged my shoulder and tried to cool me down.
I think he could have already sensed my fear and worry that I'm going through. Protecting somebody is not something that comes handy. The commitment and responsibility is a huge question here. Even though I started to do this for him but now they all like my own people from another world.
"I'm all good Jasper. Trust me. Let's just give it a break. Should we make some breakfast for others too? I really want to have a one time meal with all of us. We never know what may happen after today."
"Sure. Freshen up and join me in the kitchen. Let me go and wake Ivy up." He placed a sight peck on my lips and left.
After a while Ivy knocked at the door and it was time for me to help Jasper.
"Damn! You almost completed making the meal. Now I feel bad. You should have waited for me." I said making faces.
"Little did I know that you'll take forever to come out" He teased at me mockingly.
"Well, I can't just snap my fingers and get ready. Huh!"
"I feel very energetic watching you both fight in this beautiful morning." Valqour appeared from the air and later Vanessa joined in with us.
If again I see them appearing out of no where then probably I'll get a heart attack soon.
After seating ourselves, Ivy also joined us. We all laughed and talked like a family and I never felt so content before.
"Let's get down with our things and buckle up. We need to leave soon." said Ivy.
Time was slipping away and we all got busy carrying our things and making sure everything is taken care of.
"Children, our carriage is here. Make it fast." Vanessa said rushing herself.
Carriage? Why a carriage though?
Every one of us hurried towards the carriage and saw a lady waiting for us with a warming smile. She opened the door for us and moved back towards her seat.
"You could have called a taxi or car. Why a carriage?" I asked Jasper in a hushed voice.
"The place where we are going is not somewhere that's normal. Only this carriage can take us to her place. You'll know everything slowly. First let's face Melisandre" He replied rubbing my hand.
It's riddle that needs to be solved patiently.
