Not knowing how to react to his comment, I stayed still patting his back but slowly Jasper started to put all his body weight on me.
Is he fainting? Oh damn he's heavy.
I don't know what passed through his mind to lean on me so strongly that I almost lost my control.
THUD!!!!
Both on the ground but Jasper quickly moved his right hand under my head so I couldn't hit the floor.
Our eyes met again. He tucked one of my stray hair behind my ears just like he was putting the universe back into their place. I had number of reasons to fall for this wizard but I still wasn't sure why this wizard is taking interest in a girl like me.
He spoke no word and slowly started to bring his face near. I fluttered my eyes shut not knowing what could happen next. He brushed his lips with mine and placed a small peck on it. Everything happened so quickly that it actually took some time for me to process.
"Aren't you going to open your eyes?" He asked softly.
Not sure what happened to me seconds before, I opened my eyes to see him still looking at me. He then moved his head and slowly got up helping me on my knees.
"Ok, I think I should get back to my room. Enough with the stories. I'll inform you about tomorrow's plan soon. See ya." He took his shoes in hand and just ran out of my room.
Whoah!! How smoothly he just called it off!! Arghhh!!!
I took Tinker out of her cage and prepared some tuna and rice for her. Later I made some noodles for me and cleaned the dishes. Even though my mind was wandering with his lips and eyes but I tried my best not to overthink.
After taking a shower I went to my bed and scrolled through my feedpage. A while later I put it on charge and took my blanket to sleep. Unknowingly I touched my lips but removed my hands instantly and slapped myself.
Dear brain, please stop thinking about him and let me doze off in peace.
After ten minutes of struggling I was finally feeling sleepy.
Next morning I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was dad calling me.
"Hello honey!! How are you. Sorry for not calling earlier. We got busy with work."
"I'm completely fine dad. Hope you and mum are doing well."
"Oh we are having some hectic schedules otherwise it's all good here too. I hope you are studying well for the exams."
"Yes dad, I'm studying. You don't have to worry about that. By the way when are you both returning?"
"We planned for one month but it seems like it may take few more days to complete the project."
"Take your time dad. No need to worry or rush. I'll wait for your return. Ok bye dad I need to write some notes. Take care and send love to mum."
"Sure honey. You too take care and call us if there's even a slightest emergency. Love you."
"Love you too dad."
Study?? What study? I'm loosing my appetite now a days then how can I even think about studing? I will go insane like this and surely fail in my semester exams.
Cursing myself I moved to freshen and later prepared my cereals when my phone popped a message.
Jaz - Be ready at sharp 11 AM. We need to go somewhere.
GULP!!!
I swallowed my cereal without even chewing.
Go somewhere? Are we going for a date???? What a divine day to start.
