Chapter 20 : Allure

Jasper turned and put his fingers on my lips.
"Hush! I know that very well. I have fallen for you the instant I saw you coming out from college. That day it was me who intentionally hit your bicycle. I don't know why but the moment I laid my eyes on you, there was a strong subtly pervasive quality emanating from you. Even though I had to find my wand but still I decided to stay somewhere near you and search."

Did I hear that right? This cold creature was simping over me?

"Umm.. so.. well... "

Before I could complete my words Jasper bent himself down and smoothed the length of my hair as he kept staring at me. My whole body was shivering with joy. I could hear us breathing silently making through the night. I wanted to be with him until I couldn't. It was that simple. His expression became tender and full of longing.

"Mine." He slowly whispered in my ears.

His fingers trailed down from my cheeks to lips, outlining the shape of my mouth and kissed gently. I never wanted this to end and I felt feverishly alive this time.

"Forever mine." I said pulling him to the bed and nestling to his side.

Jasper extended one of his arm in place of the pillow and gestured me to put my head there. I could feel his strong biceps around my head. He cuddled me and brought me near his chest. I could feel his warmth emitting from the body and making me realise every then and now that I have received my world in him.

"What more can do with your spells?"

"Close your eyes. I'll show one more thing." I nodded and did so.

After a while he replied "now open up and look above."

I looked above and was enthralled. The roof on us disappeared and there was this dark sky, shining stars and some beautiful shooting meteors. It was beyond my imagination to even think of something so magnificent.

"I have no words to describe what kind of beauty I'm viewing into."

"I promise to make your life blessed even if I'm left without powers. You would be surprised thinking why I rushed like this but honestly I don't want to be stupid again and wait for the right time. Can't bear any more loss." His hug tightened.

He was actually in pain but still couldn't stop himself loving again. It was me whom he chose and from now on it will be always me. Not only will I love this man but will also learn ways to protect this immortal.

Keeping my ear closer to his heart and listening to his musical rhythm I fell asleep under the shimmering sky.

This happens once in a life time so I must adore every single bit spent with Jasper. There's never been a story about about a wizard a human staying lifelong, but what if we make one?
