"Hey Suna?"
After a moment of complete silence, he spoke
"Yeah?"
"If you ever tell me 'I love you' I'll kill you" I snared. The wind was bitter pushing dry tree leaves across the ground. The tulips.. dead and dried up.
"That's funny... ok I won't" he responded leaning his back against the trunk of the tree, watching the sun slowly set for a final rest. His arms behind his head.
"It's cold today isn't it"
"Want my jacket?" He offered sluggish
"No no it's fine" I shuffled over closer to him and pulled his arm from behind his head. Placing his arm around my shoulders.
With the new arm placement he tugged pulling closer.
"You're an interesting...creature thing..parter whatever I guess. I enjoyed our time together...highness" he said nuzzling his head onto my shoulders.
The park empty as ever, the tulips we once met on occasion shriveled before our very eyes.
"I did too" I answered as we sat both snug against each other's body, the sun finally setting leaving us in darkness, my favorite oak tree, my favorite park, my favorite place, my favorite person.
