Chapter seventeen: kiss

Sal's P.O.V

It's been a few days since we went bowling.

Things have overall been really casual and chill. It was kind of nice since we were always up to something.

But over these past few days Larry and his mom have been hanging a lot more, or Larry has just been insisting (Y/N) and I chill together without him.

I don't understand why, but he gives me a really strange look every time he says it.

Kind of a weird smirk.

And occasionally an extremely dramatic wink.

Today, the three of us met up in my place, but Larry said him and his mom were having a movie marathon later on.

"You guys are welcome to join us but the movies are pretty lame" Larry groaned. "Besides, you guys will probably have a lot more fun without me"

Insert his classic wink.

The two of us played video games while (Y/N) sat on my bed with Gizmo, giving him a crazy amount of love and attention.

"Fuck you! that was such a cheap move!" Larry screamed while intensely mashing the buttons.

I was absolutely destroying him, and laughing about it the whole time.

"It's called skill Larry" I teased "You should think about getting some"

"I'll show you skill!" He boomed, tackling me onto the floor, and pinning me hard.

I screeched as he threatened to spit on me, while I heard (Y/N) chuckling at our ridiculousness.

Larry was so much stronger than me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not weak, despite how it seems. He's just so much more powerful than me, so there was no way I could fight him.

"You're lucky I should probably head out" Larry said, standing up and brushing his clothes off "but be warned that next time I'll make sure I get you"

"Yeah, whatever" I laughed and stood myself up as well. "Text me when you're done, we can come down afterwards and chill!"

"Alright, see you guys later!"

"Byeee!" (Y/N) sang.

I walked over and joined her on the bed, with gizmo between us purring like a maniac.

I was kind of really excited to get alone time with her again. It gave us a lot of opportunity to get closer and talk about everything! Especially since Larry wasn't there to judge us.

We would talk a lot about conspiracies, past events, preferences, favorites, and so much more. It was really fun getting closer to her.

(Y/N) was focused incredibly on Gizmo, running her fingers through his fur and smiling.

"It's so cool that you have a cat! My parents never let me get any pets so I was pretty lonely when I was growing up" she noted. I can't imagine not having Gizmo to be honest.

I nodded "Yeah, Gizmo is really awesome and he keeps my company!"

She continued stroking him gently and filled the silence with normal conversation:

"So you and Ashley are all good?" (Y/N) inquired casually "like no hard feelings?"

I shook my head. None at all actually.

After everything, we did end up texting each other. She was extremely apologetic and sincere when it came to our friendship.

She made pretty good points that even I was having issues with. I don't think we worked as well as we were hoping we could, but that's not on either of us.
