chapter thirty: moving

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

"Is that the last box?" I asked, placing it on the bare bed.

Sal tucked his hair behind his ear and nodded "Heh, yeah it is."

I felt so excited. It took a little while but we were all finally moved in.

Todd and Neil had moved in a few days before us, so now Larry, Sal, and I are getting our stuff in the house.

I turned and reached my hands upwards, wrapping my arms around Sals neck. His arms loosely went around my waist snd I giggled as I pecked the lips in his mask.

"Is this real?" He joked and I rolled my eyes.

"No, I'm actually just a figment of your imagination. This house is fake too"

He threw his head back and laughed.

He was actual perfection.

I led my one hand up his masks and cupped his cheek underneath the prosthetic, resting my thumb on his skin. His head instinctively leaned into my hand and he sighed out almost in relief. It was lovely.

I leaned in and he lifted his mask up quickly , just enough so I could get to his lips.

It was always so cute to see how eager he was to kiss me. I mean, I was too. No doubt about that.

"Hey you guys I-". Larry snorted as he shut the door behind him. We didn't even realize it was wide open.

He still doesn't know about Sal and I. Despite it being a few weeks, and even the fact he's walked in on us kissing a few times now.

Each time he just shakes his head and mumbles about how he knows somethings up, and how friends don't do that so often.

"I just finished up my room, I was going to come ask if you guys wanted help but I see you're a little busy.

I rolled my eyes and let go of Sal, jumping over to Larry and throwing myself up onto him.

Larry laughed and picked me up and spun around like he did when I first came to see him again.

Sal watched and I heard him chuckle underneath the prosthetic he wore. I'm happy that we're all here.

"Larry I'm so so excited!" I cheered as he placed my back down onto the floor. "We're all living together!"

"I know! It's unbelievable honestly!" He ruffled my hair "I'm gonna be able to bother you two all the damn time"

Sal walked up to me and hugged me cutely from behind and leaned into me. "I'm definitely pumped to be seeing how this will go. I just hope I don't get tired of you" he snickered

"Hey, you better not !!" I scolded.

I felt so warm in his arms, and I sure do hope he doesn't get tired of me.

I'd never get tired of him.

"Are you guys getting married soon? Is there something I'm missing something?" Larry questioned with his eyebrows raised.

I purses my lips to the side and cleared my throat.

"You're dating aren't you!!" He gasped dramatically hand poked my side "you guys didn't tell me !!"

Sal nuzzled into my neck "I mean we didn't think it would be a big deal"

"Not a big DEAL?! Y'all are kissing and fucking and-"

"Whoa whoa, nobody said that! Why are you so obsessed with our possible, maybe even non-existent sex life you weirdo" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Hey, I'm not obsessed I just like getting the juicy gossip!!!"

"You're so strange" I snorted "we should probably get this room settled and decorated!"

"I can help!" Larry offered "I'm bored and lonely"

Sal released his grip on my and started opening up all the boxes "of course you can help, I feel that"

My eyes rolled and I opened up the other boxes with him.

It took a long while before we finally set everything up. It was mainly Sals things with a few of my little decorations all around. I knew I wouldn't have a permanent room and would probably be going back and forth between these two.

But I was totally fine with it.

Sal sighed happily, putting his hands on his hips "This is cool. I have to go get Gizmo later on so when I'm not here please don't ruin the place"

"No promises" both Larry and I said I unison.

We chuckled as Sal sat in his bed.

"Yknow, I'm gonna miss Ash a lot" I stated, crossing my arms. She kept me pretty sane in a group of boys."

"No worries! I'm sure she's going to come back a whole lot, and she can even spend the night at the apartments! My room in the basement can now be a spare room for her disposal!"

I shrugged as I realized what he said was absolutely true. But I still worried she wouldn't be around as much. I wouldn't blame her, especially with city life being what she always wanted.

The rest of the day was normal, kind of like how we used to be back in Larry's old room. Just sitting and fucking around together and it was kind of the best.

A small knock on the door brought our attention upwards as Todd poked his head in "hey guys, Neils gonna be making dinner soon so I just thought I'd let you know!"

I pouted my lip out and fake sniffled "wait this is so wholesome. If this is how life is gonna be then I'm never moving out"

Sal agreed with me as Larry excitedly cheered about food. Neil is actually an awesome cook so I'm also pretty pumped to eat our first meal all together.

This is cute and everything I hoped my life would be.

It's crazy that when I first came here, things were so different.

But I wouldn't change a thing.
