SURPRISE DOUBLE UPDATE

Sal's P.O.V

I climbed my way up the ladder and poked my head into the little box.

Something felt wrong and I just had a bad feeling.

(Y/N) was pacing back and forth, a hand gripping her hair and the other placed on her chest.

I lifted myself in and walked to her, putting my hand on her shoulder "hey hey, calm down I'm here"

I got a good look at her face and she was clearly a mess, her eyes were red and she had tears streaming down her face constantly.

Her walking continued, completely disregarding me. I didn't take offense to it, seeing how distraught she was.

She tried to speak, but it all just came out muffled and incoherent. I could tell she was having a really bad panic attack.

I used to get them, so I'm pretty familiar with how to help.

"(Y/N) you need to breathe, please." I instructed, taking a step back, keeping my eyes on her. "That's not good for you, you're hyperventilating."

I scanned the room a bit, looking for a place for her to sit down, but I was brought from my thoughts when she spoke a little more clearly.

"I c-cant believe him h-he... and she just came into his life?! A-and how didnt h-he tell me I'm his daughter I-I don't know what's... D-does he even- I just want- I want mom I want-"

Her rambling continued and I felt my heart drop as she said this, as I knew what it was like to miss your own mother that you've lost.

"I know you do" I said quietly "can you please sit down?"

It was almost as if she didn't even hear me, no acknowledgement besides a little side look.

But I could tell something was wrong

The look in her eyes was what made me realize she wasn't feeling good. Her skin lost its normal color and her eyes seemed so empty. Her breathing was getting worse, so I quickly ran to her.

But I was a few seconds too late as she lost her balance, and fell down to the floor.

I could tell she tried to catch herself, as she stumbled to the side a little bit, but it didn't work.

She was breathing too erratically. She wasn't getting enough oxygen and she passed out.

I felt my body cringe as I watched and heard her head make contact with the wood beneath her. I knelt down, lifting her head up slightly and shivering.

I scanned her face, and saw her chest rising as it did this morning.

She's breathing. She's okay.

When you panic like that, you can sometimes pass out. Which in reality can be good for your body, as it regulates your breathing because you aren't awake to hyperventilate anymore.

But the issue was how hard she hit her head. It didn't sound good.

I felt around the area where she hit her head, feeling a large bump already forming. I looked at my hand and saw a little stain of blood, but almost unnoticeable.

Good. She's not bleeding a lot.

I need to get the others though. She might have a concussion and we need to get it checked out right away. Especially if she didn't wake up immediately.

I know I'm overthinking.

I just don't think the mix of a panic attack and concussion is a good one.
