Chapter thirty-six: dresses

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

After everything had subsided and the tears were wiped away, we finally made it into the store.

We all sat in the dressing area, where we each took turns trying on all of our outfits we were planning to wear.

Ash decided on wearing this really pretty lavender dress that landed just above her knees. The way it hugged her frame, made the dress look even more beautiful.

She was really really pretty. I'm not gonna lie.

Larry was extremely quick to pick out all of his clothes. He chose a simple green top and some nice dress pants. I pouted my lip as he stepped out of the dressing room.

"Larry, you really look nice" I smiled, and stood up. I walked over to him and reached up, putting a pony tail in his hair. "You look so good. Lisa will love this, and she's going to be so happy to have you there"

He turned and looked into the mirror, sniffling lightly. His hand reached up and rubbed his eyes "Jesus (Y/N), I'm not supposed to be crying yet"

I grinned as he went back into the dressing room, groaning from the tears in his eyes.

It's so weird to think of how everything has been. I never would have thought in a million years I'd be back here, with a whole new life and freinds. And now we were going to Lisa's and Henry's wedding together.

My head turned and I saw the two others sitting, just looking up at me.

"You and Larry are so great with each other" Ash mumbled "theres so much love and care between you two and it's just... really nice to see"

Sal nodded in agreement. His pile of clothes overflowing in his arms.

He was really excited to try all of this on.

He's way worse than most people when it comes to trying clothes on, even if he basically wears the same style of clothes every day. but I totally understand his excitement when it comes to this, dresses are so wonderful!

Larry came out and pointed towards the now empty room with his new outfit in his hands. The change from those clothes was pretty drastic to see.

"Alright Sally Face" he smirked a bit "get in there and go wild"

Sal excitedly scurried into the room and shut it.

Ash and Larry were so nice when Sal told them he was gonna wear a dress. In fact it really didn't phase them. It was just a normal little thing to them, as if it was someone telling you their name.

It's really cool to see that the people I've surrounded myself with, are more than accepting when it comes to whatever. That's something that matters a lot to me.

We waited a bit, as Sal didn't want to take up time and show every single outfit he put on, so he just showed us the ones he really liked.

After a few minutes the three of us heard a little gasp and an excited giggle.

The door opened slowly and out stepped Sal with the cutest yellow dress on. He had put his hair into a very very messy bun, but I could see the happiest look in his eyes.

It had a cute little collar and the shade was just wonderful.

"You look so handsome" I shot up and stood behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist "you're actually so beautiful and perfect Sal, wow" I gawked over him.

I felt his frame lean into me as he placed his arms on top and looked in the mirror "I really like it" was all he stated.

"You HAVE to get it" Ash basically pleaded "that looks fantastic and you're gonna look so good!"

"I second that statement" Larry cheered.

I reached up and squeezed the bun on top of his head. "We just will have to fix this up a bit when the time comes"

"Definitely" Sal chuckled, turning quickly to peck my lips.

I tried on a bunch of dresses, a few were cute but thankfully I found the perfect little yellow dress that fit just right. I looked at my reflection and bit my lip.

It matched with Sals extremely well. And I had straps instead of sleeves like his.

I stepped out of the dressing room nervously, and Sals bright blue eyes met mine.

"Wow" was all he breathed.

"God damnit (Y/N), you're gonna make it really hard to be your sort of brother in law" Larry snorted, making Sal slap him extremely hard on his chest. "Ow! What! She's looks so good!"

I loved that he was implying that Sal and I were going to last. I hope so with my whole heart.

Ash cackled and clapped "you look so great (Y/N), I think that one fits you so nicely" she gave me a little thumbs up.

Sal looked like he wanted to say a lot, but was keeping it to himself. I made a mental note to question him later on.

I smiled wide looking at the three of them "alright I'll get this one then!"

The three of them cheered as I hopped back into the room.

"Yknow if you and Sal don't work out- Ow fuck! That was right on my nipple you asshole!"

I closed my eyes sighing happily.

These were the moments I cherished with all my heart. I never want to forget this moment.

Even if Larry was hitting on me just a little.

I slid the dress off and put my regular clothes back on, feeling my heart warm up thinking about my friends.

They were just. Perfect. I love them
