Chapter 25

After the graduation ceremony, we cleared our schedules to enjoy a short vacation here in La Union. We stayed at a local hotel owned by Arra's cousin.

"Girls, sobrang excited na akong mag beach." Vern slowly dragging her luggages at the hotel lobby.

"Ano yan? Bakit ang dami-dami mong dalang damit girl, La Union lang to ha hindi LA." Rocky was getting done with Vern's spontaneous antics.

We laughed, "Kelan ba yan hindi nagdala ng maraming damit. Hayaan niyo ang fashionista natin." I added. Vern just rolled her eyes.

"Of course, I'm a fashionista. Clothing is my life." Vern still getting frustrated on how to fit her luggages. Nag-senyas na si Rocky sa staff na paki-tulungan na si Vern.

Nandito kami sa lobby ng hotel ng cousin ni Arra, it's a simple but elegant. "Hi, Arra Calixto and we have a reservation. We would like to have a 2 suites please." The receptionist smiled and handed out Arra 2 keys and some coupons.

"Ms. Calixto, this a complementary gift. You now have free body massages and spa for you and your friends to avail courtesy of Mr. Freid Calixto."

Arra smiled, "Yun talaga nag-abala pa, by the way is he here?"

The receptionist smiled, "Yes, he's having a meeting but he told me he'll treat you to lunch when you're done with your rooms."

After talking to the receptionist agad naman namin napag-hatian kung sino-sino magkakasama sa room. Me, Millie, Arra & Rocky. While TJ, Jaq and Vern on one room. Our suites are just next door, we have a secret wall if we wanted to joined the 2 rooms together.

"Arra ang sosyal talaga ng pinsan mo, nararamdaman ko talagang gwapo siya." Vern said.

"Hay nako Vern, ayan ka nanaman. Sa dami ng celebrities na manliligaw mo wala ka pa ring mapili tapos ngayon gusto mo pa mag entertain ng iba. Mamigay ka naman kay TJ at Jaq."

"Rocky, wag mo kong trini-triggered dyan. That's why I need a lot of choices, I am not that kind of girl who will settle for less."

Arra threw a pillow at their center. "Umayos nga kayong dalawa dyan, we are here to have fun. Let's go downstairs have lunch then we'll check out some activities before we start the party at night."

We all went to the dining hall of the lobby, the design was very hippie and homey vibe. With a touch of rich hawaiian furnitures and other stuff in the place.

The food served is a mix of Filipino, Thai and Haianese dishes.

"Arra, sosyal talaga ng pinsan mo ha. Alam mo na sis kung sino una mong irereto"

Excited na excited pa si Vern dun sa pinsan ni Arra kaysa sa bonding moment namin barkada.

"Vern, ang pinunta natin dito sa Elyu ay para mag-relax. Puro kalandian nanaman yan nasa isip mo." Pagpaparinig ni Rocky may Vern

Inirapan lang ni Vern si Rocky, natatawa na lang kami sa dalawang to. Basta about sa mga lalake, mga ganadong-ganado sa usapan at dumadating pa sa asaran.

"Guys, try niyo yung chicken rice and masarap din yung kare-kare nila dito ha. Mukhang simple yung place pero napaka next-level ng dishes na sineserve nila dito." Obsession din naman ni TJ ang mag observe at mag critic ng mga putahe sa mga nakakainan namin.

Agad naman namin tinikman ang mga putahe na nakakapanibago sa aming mga mata at panlasa. We're all amazed on how the food turned out.

Halos maubos na ni Rocky at TJ ang mga servings ng variant na kinuha namin.
