Chapter 8

I arrived at my hotel room like nothing happened, I just don't get that guy and his family. I texted mom that I arrived safe baka mag-alala nanaman yun at hindi na ako payagan lumabas. I'm also particularly curious sa kaibigan ng gago na yun. I mean he's also good-looking pero halatang playboy ang isang yun. 

My phone beeped and saw his text message 

Tobi 

I'm sorry for today, I hope I'll see you tomorrow 

To: Tobi 

I'm sorry but its my free day, pinayagan ako ni mom to hang out I'm meeting a friend. 

I hope you understand Tobi na hindi muna tayo pwede magkita, ikaw na rin nagsabi na ayusin ko muna ang relasyon ko sa aking mga kapatid and you need to fix your sister. I really need time to think. I need to keep my image or else ayokong mapahiya sa parents ko. My brothers are doing good sa lahat ng pamamalakad ng sa lugar namin together with Dad. I need to impress them dahil ako lang ang walang ginagawa na related sa politics. 

Tobi

I threw my phone at my bedside table,  I took a bath and decided to get into my pajamas and watch a movie, I choose the movie Clueless since its my ultimate fave. I examined the mini refrigerator of the hotel room. I saw a can of sprite and some chocolate bars agad ko naman kinuha ang mga yun at humiga na ulit sa kama. 

I was focused on watching the movie na hindi ko namalayan ang oras, a loud knock on my hotel room door was heard. I opened the door and saw my mom looked worried she immediately hugged me. 

"Glad that you're safe, akala ko kung saan ka na nagpunta"  I gave her a smile and an okay sign 

"Mom, I'm fine okay ito na nga ako oh buhay na buhay" 

She touched my cheek and pinched it.  "Paano ba naman kasi na hindi ako mag-aalala iba pala naghatid sayo papunta rito, I can't believe Tobi siya nagdala sayo dun sa resort tapos hindi ka ihahatid pabalik dito" 

I removed her hand from my cheek and gave her a tight hug "Hayaan mo na siya Mom, just tell Tita what happened siya na bahala dun sa lalakeng yun okay" 

Mom started to smile lightly after what I said "Okay anak I will tell her and tomorrow is your free day enjoyin mo na before we go back to Manila. "

"Yes, I will" 

She insisted we grabbed some dinner so we did ordered room service na lang since tinatamad na akong lumabas ng room. I'm very happy that Mom is letting me loose a little, thank you Tobi dahil sa kagaguhan mo at ni Allison, kaya please ayoko muna makipag-kita sayo cause you'll only bring trouble in my life. 

After that dinner mom left and I brushed my teeth and do my skincare routine. My phone beeped, it was a text message. Pag ito si Tobi nanaman talagang itatapon ko na itong phone na ito. 

Zach

Hey sis wassup 

Great another one, handling this guy is definitely the worst. 

To: Zach 

what the fuck you want? 

I positioned myself in bed ready to sleep pero panay tunog ng cellphone ko. 

Zach 

Spill the tea 

Mom told me nasa resort ka daw nila Tobi kanina

I know Allison she's no good 

I panicked, since kilala naman pala niya si Allison alam mo naman siguro na Zach na napaka harot ng babaeng yun. She's psychotic and manipulative Zach yun sana ang gusto kong sabihin at may incest relationship sila ni Tobi kung alam mo pero hindi ko na sinabi yun. 

To: Zach 

I just ate lunch there

I met her she's okay 

She's not okay Zach, she's my nightmare. Help me, fetch me here in Samar now. Yun ang mga gusto kong sabihin na hindi ko masabi lang sayo kasi natatakot na ako Zach. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinaplano niya sakin. She's gonna do everything to expose us, help me and expose her too mas malala siya Zach. 

Zach

Glad to hear that 

Tell me asap if ever she did something okay 

I'll tell Theo 

Take care and love you 

I'm now gonna be able to sleep in peace, Thank you Zach you're the best in taking care of me. I hope Allison stays away from us or else karma is gonna serve her. Kinakabahan din ako sa gagawin ni Theo pag nalaman niya. He may not be the eldest but he always act as the protector, he's a beast. Kahit si Zach hindi niya magagawan na lumaban kay Theo dahil alam niyang matatalo siya nito. 

Zach is my guardian angel pag may kaaway ako or probleme he's always the first one to comfort me. Theo is the inner demon, he will be in rage always pag nalaman niyang may kaaway ako. 

To: Zach

Please don't tell Theo 🥺

I sent him the message, sana nga wag na lang niya sabihin kay Theo, natatakot ako baka sumugod siya dito.

Zach

Too late, I already told him
He'll be there to pick you up and mom. Sorry

I facepalmed, damn I knew it. I just hope Theo won't cause any trouble I'm sure hindi naman niya gagawin yun in front of mom.

Morning has passed, I entered the lobby and saw mom and Theo talking. I can't believe this guy, kagabi lang niya nalaman pero nandito na agad siya. He really is possessive

Nilapitan ko sila ni Mom, I kissed mom on the cheek

"Good morning anak" she kissed me back and gave me a hug

Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Theo at agad niya akong ningitian.

"Good morning baby sis, did you miss me?" Sabi niya, he was opening his arms waiting for me to give him a hug.

I hugged him, he also gave me a tight hug.

We broke the hug, it was awkward but he just smiled softly. Alam kong asar na asar na siya deep down dahil sa nalalaman niya pero he's a great pretender.

"Let's grab some breakfast?" He said then the staff led us to the hotel's dining area.

It was a mixed of modern and traditional themed dining room, an acoustic band playing at the corner of the room. The tables are made of marble in beige and the expensive chandelier are everywhere.

They also choose daisies and white roses for the decoration, a buffet was served. I was having a hard time to choose. Theo got my empty plate and filled it with an omelette and pancakes.

"Choose our seats and I'll handle our food for us" he was lining up next on the bakery to grab some toast.

I choose the seats and prepared coffee, we both love coffee. Mom is done at the buffet and sat beside me.

"Everything looks delicious, masisira ang diet natin anak" she let out a small laugh. I just awkwardly smiled at her.

Theo put down the plates and sat in front of me, we prayed then ate our breakfast.

"So anong plano mo for today?" Mom asked

"Nothing much mom, I'll just meet up with Millie"

"Oh yeah, I've heard the Chou family is on vacation right now"

"I'll drive her there mom" Theo smiled at me while sipping his coffee

Mom looked ecstatic when he said that, I'm gonna be doomed on whatever he's planning today.
