AFTER THE SECOND task Ron told everyone stories about how he 'was kidnapped and struggled single handedly against fifty heavily armed merpeople who had beat him into submission before tying him up.'

It was a whole lot of rubbish, but people believed him and it put Ron in the spotlight for a change and it made him happy so I didn't complain, even if the kid was a huge pain in the arse.

Breakfast on Friday morning, a brown owl with half it's feathers sticking up the wrong way landed in front of Harry and I while we were eating. It had two letters tied onto it's leg addressed to Harry and I. We took the letters and ripped them open quickly as the handwriting was my dad's.

Y/N,

Two o'clock Saturday afternoon. Meet me with Harry at end of road out of Hogsmeade. I've already asked Harry to bring food. I love you.

"I can't believe him." Harry said tensely to Hermione, Ron and I. "If he's caught..."

"Made it so far, though, hasn't he?" said Ron. "And it's not like the place is swarming with dementors anymore."

"He's right Harry. I'm sure he'll be fine." I grinned, happy to be able to see my dad again.

Harry glanced over my shoulder at my letter. "Aww he said he loves you, he didn't say that to me!" Harry read on. "He wants you to bring Fred?"

"Fred's not coming. I'm not even going to tell him." I said flatly and then left to go to class.

"COME ON, I wanna come too!" Fred whined as I went to leave with Harry, Ron and Hermione. "Pleaseeeeee!"

"No Freddie. You're staying here with George and Lee."

"You won't even tell me where you're going!"

"We're going to get a present for Dobby since he helped Harry with the task." I sighed.

"Then why can't I come with?" Fred whinged. "Is it because I'm too fat?"

"Fred seriously?" I laughed. "We all know you're not fat."

"Then why can't I come?"

"It's a surprise."

"Come on Y/N! Let's go." Harry dragged me out of the great hall.

We then quickly went down to Hogsmeade with Harry's bag full of food and hanging off his shoulder.

We first went to Galdrags Wizardwear to get Dobby some socks. We ended up getting him the strangest and most colourful socks we could find in the store. Then at half past one, we made our way up the High Street, past Dervish and Banges, and out towards the edge of the village.
