PART THREE
Educational Decree no. 24

" y/n's point of view "

JUST A DAY after our meeting at the Hog's Head, a new Educational Decree was put up.

All student organisations, societies, teams, groups and clubs are henceforth disbanded.

An organisation, society, team, group or club is hereby defined as a regular meeting of three or more students.

Permission to re-form may be sought from the High Inquisitor (Professor Umbridge).

No student organisation, society, team, group or club may exist without the knowledge and approval of the High Inquisitor.

Any student found to have formed, or to belong to, an organisation, society, team, group or club that has not been approved by the High Inquisitor will be expelled.

That morning, when I saw Harry and Ron in the Great Hall, I hurried up to them.

"Harry! Ron!" I came up to them quickly, talking over whatever Harry was whispering. "You realize she's including Quidditch in there too, right? We have to go and ask permission to re-form the Gryffindor team!"

"What?" Said Harry, clearly surprised.

"No way." Ron said, appalled.

"You read the sign, it mentions teams too! So listen, Harry... I am saying this for the last time... please, please don't lose your temper with Umbridge again or she might not let us play any more!" I was practically begging him. "You can't ruin this for me."

"Okay, okay." Harry agreed. "Don't worry, I'll behave myself."

"You better." I said, sighing out in relief.

But of course I was still unsuccessful.

I left Umbridge's office that afternoon absolutely fuming. But I didn't give her the pleasure.

I just said, "Understood, Professor." And left her office at that.

She didn't need to know how badly she made my blood boil.

After dinner, I was complaining to Angelina and Alicia, when Harry, Ron and Hermione entered the common room.

"No Quidditch practice." I told them, trying to keep my anger below the surface.

"But I kept my temper!" Harry said. "I didn't say anything to her, I swear."

"I know, Harry." I sighed and slumped back onto the couch. "She just said she needed a bit of time to consider."

"Consider what?" Ron scoffed. "She's given the Slytherin's permission, why not us?"

"Because she's awful, Ronald." I replied.

"Well, look on the bright side. At least now you'll have time to do Snape's essay!" Hermione said to the boys.

"That's a bright side, is it?" Harry snapped at her while Ron stared incredulously at Hermione. "No Quidditch practice, and extra Potions?"

As Harry slumped down and started to do his Potions homework, I got up to sit on the other side of the room where all the commotion was taking place as Fred and George were showing off their perfected Skiving Snackbox.
