OVER THE NEXT few months, we were basically only at the Burrow and we didn't get many visitors. It was a quiet few months, we couldn't work, couldn't really leave...

But in late April, I came downstairs one morning to find Remus in the kitchen, like he had just arrived at the Burrow, talking with Molly and Ginny, who didn't go back to Hogwarts after Christmas break. I was caught off guard as he immediately jumped to his feet, seemingly estatic.

"Oh, Y/N!" Remus was quick to sweep me into a hug. "Dora's had the baby, it's a boy!"

"Really!?" My face lit up with excitement. "Congratulations!"

"We've named him Teddy, Ted, after Dora's father." He explained. Ted Tonks had been killed recently while on the run.

"Do you have any pictures?" I asked and Remus started patting around his shabby jacket.

"None on me at the moment, but he's beautiful." Remus seemed thrilled. "I've just come from Bill and Fleur's, I haven't gone back yet. Would you like to come with?"

"Yes, please." I replied, a little eagerly. "Um, let me go get changed first."

I dressed in a flash and soon Remus and I had apparated to Tonks's parents place, where Tonks, Andromeda, and newborn baby Teddy were.

"Y/N!" Tonks beamed happily when she saw me, cradling Teddy, who had thin hair that looked to be blond. "Wotcher."

Tonks handed Teddy to Remus, who quickly scooped the boy up and smiled down at his son. Tonks then pat the spot on the sofa beside her for me to sit down.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her.

"Honestly, pretty fantastic." Tonks said. "Mum brewed me this brilliant potion for the pain, so I really just feel so... so happy."

"Oh! Dora!" Remus spoke and we both turned to see Teddy's hair was no longer blond, but a dark brown. "His hair changed again."

"Just like his mummy." Andromeda said as she walked into the living room. "Oh, hello, Y/N."

"Hi, Andy." I greeted my father's cousin. "How're you doing?"

She nodded. "Better."

"Y/N, do you want to hold him?" Remus asked me.

"Um, is that okay?" I asked, looking between Remus and Tonks.

"Of course." Tonks smiled and Remus carefully handed him to me. "You are his godmother, after all."

I took one look at him, and my heart melted. Teddy Lupin was the most adorable baby I had ever seen.

"Oh, he's adorable." I said exactly what I was thinking. "I can't believe you're a dad, Remus."

"Nor can I." He said. "Good thing I've got about 20 years of practice, hey?"

A smile grew on my face, then I looked back down at Teddy. He was still asleep.

"Good thing indeed." I replied.

"WHERE'VE YOU BEEN?" Fred asked me as I walked back into the Burrow later that afternoon.

"At Tonks's place. She had the baby- Why?" I asked him.

"I just... didn't know where you were and I got a little worried, that's all." He said.

"Aw." I smiled.

"Shut up." He frowned. "How come you didn't respond?"

He pointed to my necklace hanging around my neck. While I was visiting, I had noticed it buzzing, but never really connected the dots.

"I was holding Teddy. And talking to Remus, Tonks and Andy." I shrugged. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright." He said, slipping his arm around me. "So how cute is the baby?"

"He's so cute. While I was holding him his hair changed from a brown to blue." I said as we started going up the stairs. "Now I really want a baby."

"Woah, pump the breaks." Fred stopped walking. "Why don't we wait until after this whole war is over."

"Remus and Tonks didn't wait." I pointed out and Fred nodded.

"That's true, but it doesn't mean we can't." He said and put his hands on my shoulders. "We have so much time, love. Let's spend a little more of it just the two of us before we decide on anything else, yeah?"

"Yeah, I know." I sighed. He was right, because I knew I was in no way really prepared to take care of another human being, let alone grow one inside of me. "Maybe in a couple of years."

"Exactly." Fred grinned. "Fred Weasley the second has a great ring to it, don't you reckon?"

"I reckon it's a stupid name." George said, walking out of the twins' bedroom. "Are you pregnant or something?"

"No, George." I replied.

"Then what's with the stupid names?" He asked, then looking to Fred, who elbowed him.

"Mind your business, lugless."

George rolled his eyes, but still laughed as he walked past us and downstairs.

"A couple of years." I nodded and Fred chuckled.
