PART FOUR
Late

" y/n's point of view "

AT THE END of October I ended up going home again. I talked about maybe going back at some point after Christmas, but for the moment I wanted to be able actually to see Fred.

One month without seeing him was too long, and now I was back to working as a Trainee Healer at St Mungo's.

But on my days off, I liked to spend them exploring muggle London, if I wasn't helping the boys out with their shop or anything, that was.

When I woke up late just a few days into being back and the shop was already open downstairs I decided that was a day I would go out and do something.

So I got up, showered, dressed into more muggle appropriate clothes and as I was putting on my shoes I looked to my calendar on the wall, which I had bewitched so it could track things, like my cycle.

And that's when it caught my eye. My period had been due five days earlier, almost a full week ago, and my heart dropped.

My plans changed pretty quickly to going to Angelina's, not having a fun day in the city.

Issue was, I had Angelina's address, she was living in London, but I had no idea how to get there. And I didn't even know if she was going to be home.

So I went down the stairs of the flat and into the shop, trying my best to act normal when internally I was losing my mind.

"Good morning, beautiful." Fred greeted me with his usual grin and I smiled at him.

"Good morning, Freddie." I said and kissed him on the lips.

"You okay?" He asked me, his eyes analyzing my face.

"Yeah, I'm good." I smiled. "Just gonna go out for a bit."

"Alright. Be safe." He told me and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Yes, sir." I saluted him and he chuckled.

I headed out of the shop and into the Alley, walking down the road until I reached the entrance to The Leaky Cauldron.

I walked through the pub, passing a few people, before reaching the front door and stepping out onto the pavement.

I thought about pulling out my wand, summoning the Knight Bus to take me there, but then I decided against it. I wasn't sure who I could trust anymore, except for the Order and my friends.

Which makes how the rest of the day went even funnier.

As I walked through the streets of London, trying to find my way to Angelina's place, I had started to let the anxiety that was bubbling in my stomach overwhelm me and I might have started to tear up a bit.

Most of the muggles I passed didn't even spare me one glance as I started to cry until I passed three girls who looked around my age.
