PART FIVE
This Year, This Month, Next Week——————————————————————
" y/n's point of view "

AS THE REST of August went on, I didn't go back to work at St Mungo's, as much as I wanted to. The world was far too hectic for me to be able to just go about my day like normal.
Fred and George had been talking about closing up the shop until further notice, with the state Diagon Alley was in at the time, and the number of Death Eaters we were seeing daily, the topic had come up a few times.
I had found out from Tonks that she was pregnant and she and Remus were going to have a baby, who would be due in April.
I was excited about that. The fun parts of having a baby in the family, but not having to be the one with the responsibilities.
I would basically have a little brother or sister. Like Harry, who I had not heard anything from or about since the Wedding, and I had no idea where he was or if he, Hermione and Ron were safe.
None of my friends had heard from Lewis since that day he had disapparated from our kitchen, not even Alicia. It was like he had disappeared off the face of the earth.
On the first of September, the store was closed and we stayed up in the flat. Well, Fred and I did. George had gone out earlier in the day, leaving us alone.
We had seen Ginny off as she took the Hogwarts Express back to school that morning, which we had originally thought to be safe for her, until we saw the Daily Prophet just an hour later.
Severus Snape had been named the new Headmaster of Hogwarts, and Death Eater siblings Alecto and Amycus Carrow were the new Muggle Studies and Defense Against the Dark Arts professors.
"Everything's just getting worse every day." I said, staring down at the paper on the table as Fred made us lunch. "There's going to be a war. I mean, I know we already knew this, but... I guess it's finally sunk in."
Fred turned around to face me and I looked up at him from my seat.
"I reckon we should get married." I said and he chuckled.
"We are going to get married." He reminded me and I rolled my eyes.
"I know that. I meant, like, soon." I said. "This year."
"Why?" He asked me.
"Because if there's going to be a war, I want to make sure we can have an actual wedding before everything totally goes to hell." I said as I stood up and walked towards him. "Y'know? I want us to have time."
"We have time." He told me, holding my face in his hands. "But I agree. How would you feel about getting married this month?"
"I think that's a perfect idea." I finally smiled and he leaned in to kiss me. We kissed and when I pulled apart, I met his eyes again. "What about today?"
"Hmm... a little too soon. What about next week?"

AND LATER THAT week Angelina and I were walking through muggle London to buy me a wedding dress.
Obviously we could've easily made one with magic, or gone to Madam Malkin's, but where was the fun in that? And we needed a little more fun in our lives at this point in time.
"Did you hear about what happened at the Ministry the other day?" Angelina asked me quietly as we walked down the bustling footpath of unaware muggles.
"How Harry was there? Yeah." I sighed. "At least it means he's alive and they haven't caught him yet."
"Have you heard anything else new?"
"Some Gryffindors tried stealing the Sword of Gryffindor from Snape's office." I told her as we neared a dress shop. "One of them was Ginny. They were caught, and I really don't want to know what kind of punishment they got."
"I have a feeling it wouldn't be detention anymore." Angelina said as she pushed open the door and we walked in. "Now, on a more happier note, what kind of dress are you thinking?"
"I'm not too -"
"Oh, my gosh! Y/N?" A voice spoke and both Angelina and I turned around to see a girl our age standing with a measuring tape sitting around her shoulders. "It is you! It's Annabel, remember?"
I, in fact, did remember. Annabel was one of the muggle girls who had helped me when I thought I could've been pregnant a year earlier.
"Oh, hi!" I smiled. "Do you work here?"
"Yep. My parents own the place. What are you doing here?" She asked me. "Which one of you is looking for a dress."
"Uh, me." I said and Annabel grinned. "This is Angelina, by the way. One of my friends."
"Pleasure to meet you." Annabel smiled, wiping her hand on her jeans before holding it out for Angelina to shake. Angelina took her hand, a little cautiously, and shook it. "So your boyfriend proposed, I take it?"
"Yes, he did." I said.
"When's the wedding?"
"Um, next week."
"Gee, leaving it a little late, aren't we?" Annabel joked.
"We only planned it a couple of days ago. It's a long story." I shrugged and she nodded.
"I'll keep the questions to a minimum." Annabel nodded, looking between Angelina and I. "Well, let's find you a dress then, hey?"
