So as I mentioned in the author's note at the end of the last chapter, from this point onwards Butterflies is going to be split into two parts
And what I mean by that is that every chapter from now on is going to have two different versions for the two different outcomes of the battle.
One version will have the ending I had promised and originally planned way back in 2020, with Fred living.
And the other follows canon and he dies, but I'm not spoiling which one's which yet.
I don't know if I would recommend reading one version/outcome all the way through before reading the other, or reading both as the chapters come out, but idk
I genuinely just wanted to be able to keep my promise and make sure he lives (cause I wanna stay loyal to 13 year old me's plans) and give it a happy ending
But also I had some fun ideas for the outcome if he were to die so I decided why not both.
