AFTER GETTING TO Platform 9 and 3/4, I found Remus pretty quickly and ran up to him to hug him.

"Hey, you should go say goodbye first, we're gonna have to get going very soon." He told me and I pulled back.

"What do you mean? Aren't we just going home?" I asked him and Remus made a face.

"Well, you'll see." He told me, then gestured to where the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione were standing.

I ran over to Fred and hugged him.

"We're leaving now." I let him know and kissed him.

"I'll see you over summer." He told me and kissed me again.

I nodded and looked over to Harry, who still looked upset.

"See you later, Harry." I hugged him tightly. "You'll be okay, right?"

"Sure." He put on a smile and I pat his shoulder.

"I'll write, okay?" I told him and he nodded.

Then I turned around and walked back to Remus.

"Where are we going?" I asked him and grabbed onto his arm.

"You'll see." He said before apparating and suddenly we were in the entrance hall of an old dusty house I didn't quite recognize.

"Where are we?" I asked Remus and he smiled.

"Y/N." A voice spoke and my head snapped to where my dad stood at the end of the hall with his arms out.

"Dad!" I ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Oh, I've missed you, darling." He spoke before kissing the top of my head.

"I've missed you, too." I responded before looking around. "What is this place?"

"12 Grimmauld Place." Dad replied. "Our home."

"Our-" I started. "This is where we lived before-?"

"Before I was framed and sent to Azkaban? No. My mother was still alive then. We lived elsewhere." Dad smiled and looked over at Remus. "Moony has already brought your things over. You're staying for the summer. Hopefully longer."

I smiled widely.

"I'll show you to your room, sweetheart." Dad pat my shoulder and started heading up the stairs. He then pointed to a curtain on the wall. "Don't open that. The old bat doesn't shut up."

"Who-?"

"His mother's portrait." Remus whispered as he followed us up the stairs. "Nasty woman."
