We got to the cafeteria and got in line to get our food. I got a tray and the kind lunch lady gave me some options. I decided to go with a salad and some fries. I never tried to eat healthy, I just did but I still ate my share of junk food. Charli got the same as me and I followed her to see where we are going to sit. As we are walking, we pass the table that the boy from earlier was seated at. He smiles at me.
Josh: Hi!
I don't want to be rude cause i'm usually not unless i'm pissed of so I give her s soft smile.
Me: Hey.
I continue to follow Charli to a table but the whole time I feel like someone is watching me. I didn't even have to look to know it was Josh. I just rolled my eyes and soon enough, Charli stops. We where in the middle of the cafeteria but at the table closest to the wall. It was pretty empty other than another friend group at the other end. We took one end and I put my bag down on the floor. Charli copied my actions and we started eating. Once I finished my food, I took a sip of water then leaned against the wall. Charli was still eating so I took out my sketch book hoping to finish my drawing from earlier. I grabbed my pencil and started shading. I was really focused I didn't even notice Charli staring at me. My attention finally goes from the paper to her.
Me: What?
*I laugh and she does too*
Charli: What are you drawing?

I turn my paper towards her and her jaw drops.
Charli: Your really good! Your defiantly doing all of my art assignments!
*I laugh nervously*
Me: Thanks!
Drawing has always been my happy place. I just draw what I feel and sometimes it makes me feel netter. I then get back to drawing as Charli is also leant against the wall scrolling through tiktok. I have tiktok, but I don't post on it. I just look at the videos cause sometimes it could be really funny. A couple of times, Charli has pulled me out of my thoughts bye showing me videos that we both end up laughing at.I like the friend ship that we have going on. She does't expect me to talk and i'm grateful for that. The next thing I know is that Josh is standing right in front of me. I don't notice him until he speaks.
Josh: Whatchya doin'?
I don't look up from my paper while talking.
Me: Drawing.
He laughs and leans over to see what i'm drawing.
Josh: Woah, you're good!
*I laugh once again nervously, I can't really take a compliment*
Me: Thanks!
*He then sits beside me*
Josh: So... what about that snap?
*I sigh and turn my body to face him.*
Me: Are you going to give up cause your not getting it!
*He chuckles*
Josh: I wont give up until I get it!
There is no way in hell i'm giving this boy my snap. Charli then finally steps in.
Charli: Can you tell she's not interested Josh! Now go away!
*He stands up and laughs again*
Josh: Fince, fine, I'll go! But I wont give up until I get beautiful girls snap!
*He starts to look away when he stops and looks back at Charli*
Josh: Your finally calling me Josh! I'm proud!
Charli rolls her eyes and I can't help but laugh. Charli flips Josh off as he chuckles and walks away back to him table. I put away my sketch book and I look at Charli.
Me: How do you know that annoying kid?
*She laughs*
Charli: They're all annoying!
I look at her confused as I lean back against the wall.
Charli: My sisters friends.
I guess she read the look right off of my face
Charli: Here, ok so you see that table?
She points to a table packed with people and i nod
Charli: Well, thats my sister and those are all of her friends. They're at my house ALL of the time!
She points to a very pretty girl who kinda looks like her so I assume that's her sister.
Charli: Thats Bryce, Kio, Anthony, Jaden, Noah, Blake, Quinton, Addison, Olivia, Avani, Mads, Dixie my sister, Amelie, Cynthia and Nessa
She points to each of them as she says their names.
Charli: And of course, Josh Richards. One of the schools many fuck boys!
*I laugh at her comment*
Me: Why aren't you close with them?
*She shrugs*
Charli: I just don't fit in the crowed. I get along with probably only Josh and Jaden cause there are actually nice to me. The girls can be really mean sometimes so just watch out. Especially if Nessa finds out Josh likes you so just be careful.
*I nod. Its not like Josh likes me anyways so I have nothing to be worried about. I eye some of the girls and some of them look really mean. But I could be wrong, the could suffer from RBF. (Resting Bitch Face)
