The five of us walk into my house, laughing at some weird dad joke Jaden thought was funny. IT didn't even make sense but for some reason we where laughing a lot about it. We walk into the kitchen and everyone helps them selves. Josh, Mads and I sit at the island while Jaden goes through my fridge and Charli gets her cup to fill it with water. Yes, Charli has a cup at my house. She brought it over one time and left it here. She never brought it home and it's now known in my house as 'Charli's cup' and if you use it, she kills you.
Mads: Ok so what are we doing tonight?
Charli: Baking a cake!
Me: Really?
*Jaden is now looking through my cupboards.*
Jaden: For once, I actually agree with Charli on this one! Sam, you have no food!
*I roll my eyes*
Me: Shut up and drink water!
Jaden: You sound like my fucking mother!
*I glare at him*
Me: I can be your mother! I'm officially 18 which means that I can legally make my own desisions and I can live on my own! Who's to say I can't raise a kid! Now son, go to your room! Mommy needs a break from your fucking mouth that does
*Jaden looks confused as everyone else laughs.*
Jaden: What the fuck just happened?
Me: Go to your fucking room!
*He starts walking out of the kitchen and I laugh*
Me: NO JADEN! Get your ass over here! Mommy was kidding!
*He walks back in even more confused*
Jaden: BRO-I'm literally the older than you!
*I hold up my middle finger to him and as he walks around the kitchen, my hand follows him while my head is down.*
Jaden: How the fuck do you know where i'm going?!? Josh your girlfriends a witch!
*I look up and we all laugh*
Charli: Lets bake right now cause I am FUCKING hungry!
*I laugh and shake my head. We find a brownie mix box and decide to make brownies. As we are mixing everything in the bowl, Jaden spills it every where and Charli kicks him out of the kitchen so he sits with me and Josh at the counter while Charli and Mads make the batter.*
Charli: Speaking of being 18, did you guys apply to any schools yet?
*They all nod and I look down. I don't have enough money for university so unless I win a jack load of money, I can't go.*
Josh: I'm thinking about doing online courses for UCLA so I can stay here!
*A small smile grows on my face at the thought of still being with Josh after we graduate high school. Sure I have thought about the future but I kinda skipped the school part and went straight to the living together part. They all say where they applied to and they all want to do online school for some reason? Its cool but if I can afford to go, I want to go in person. They all look at me and I chuckle a bit.*
Mads: What about you Sam?
*I shrug*
Me: I applied for LASA (Los angles school of arts. Its not real so I just go with it) but I don't know if I will get in! It's about a 20 minutes drive from here and is one of the best schools you can go to for an art major!
Josh: There's no doubt you'll get in! Your an amazing artist!
*I smile*
Me: Thanks, but I don't know if I can afford it.. I wont have to live on campus but still, textbooks and classes are a lot!
*They nod and Josh grabs his phone.*
Josh: Whats this art fair called?
Me: Um, Fair of the Arts LA. Why?
*Josh types something in on his phone, clicks some buttons, does some more typing and there he is with a big smile on his face.*
Josh: Want to earn $1 million dollars doing what you do best?
*I look at him confused and he shows me his phone.*
Josh: This rich person will be there looking around at all the sellers and what ever art she likes the most, she is paying them a million dollars buy all of their art. She's then going to donate all of the art to a silent auction!
*My face lights up and I quickly hug him.*
Me: I guess i'm doing this art fair thingy! Yay!
*Everyone laughs and Charli and Mads continue to make the brownies while I'm sitting on Josh's lap, still hugging him. I watch them make a mess of my kitchen and yell at each other for doing things wrong, mostly Jaden because he keeps putting his finger in the batter and licking it. Once the brownies are done, Charli decorates them and they are REALLY good. We played cards, a bunch of board games and me in Jaden got in an argument if I could be his mother or not. We didn't end up watching a movie cause none of us wanted to be sitting for 2 hours. Around 1:30, they all go home except Josh. He's staying with me tonight. We go into my room and do our regular night stuff before we go to bed. I change into track pants, a crop top and a hoodie over the crop top cause i'm cold but I might get hot later. Josh lays on my bed in just grey track pants and no shirt.*
Josh: Get over here!
*I laugh and jump beside him. I lay my head on his chest and his arms wrap around my body. I trace his toned abs with my finger as he makes small circles under my sweater on my lower back.*
Me: I love you.
Josh: I love you too.
*We both fall asleep but wake up to my phone ringing.*
