I wake up in the morning in Josh's arms, my favourite way to wake up. I look up at Josh to him still asleep. I chuckle to myself and reach over him to wear my phone is charging on his nightstand. I then feel him starting to shift under my arm. I quickly move off him only for him yo pull me back into his chest by griping my waist. I laugh and pat his chest.
Me: Good morning to you to!
*He lets out a tired laugh and tightens his grip around me as he moves a little.*
Josh: Good morning angel and merry christmas!
*Whoops, I kinda forgot it was christmas. I smile*
Me: Merry christmas.... Now, lets go see your family!
*I start to get up but he groans at the sudden loss of body contact and pulls me right down again.*
Josh: Five more minutes!
*I laugh*
Me: Come on, everyone's already awake!
*He groans again and I get out of the bed. I grab one of Josh's hoodies (Which is pretty big on me) because I don't want to wear a crop top in front of his family. I feel like it's rude for some reason? I don't know. Josh sits up and looks at me. He scrunches his eyebrows together and groans once more.*
Josh: Great. I have to get up early on a fucking weekend and I don't even get to see your perfect body cause it's covered in my hoodie!
*I laugh and shake my head at the boy. I hold my hands out and smile at him*
Me: Come on you big baby!
*He chuckles and throws on a t-shit before grabbing my hand. As we walk down the stairs, I spot his whole family in the kitchen. His sibling's were sitting at the counter, talking with their parents who were cooking breakfast. We walk into the kitchen and I smell something delicious.*
Me: Merry christmas everyone!
*I receive some laughs and lot's of 'Merry christmas'' back. I hug everyone, very happy to be with people and mostly because Josh and I just told each other we loved each other last night. Big step.*
Josh's Dad: Ok kiddo's! Lets open some presents so we can eat the pancakes!
*Everyone laughs and makes their way into the living room.. Everyone sit's on the couch but me and Josh sit on the floor near the christmas tree, me in between his legs leaning against his chest while his arms are wrapped around my waist. Will is handing out the gifts from under the tree and I wasn't expecting anything until he gave me a little gift bag. I scrunch my face together and look up at Josh ho just chuckles and pecks my lips. After Will handed out the gifts, each of his family members had about 3 in total. I helped Josh pick out the gifts this year because he said he had no idea what he was doing. I was excited to see everyone's reaction. As Olivia opened her gift, she read the tag out loud.*
Olivia: This one is from Sam and Josh!
*I smile and look up at him to see him smiling at his sister but he gives my waist a little squeeze that makes my heart do turns. She opens her gift and loves the hoodie I picked out for her. Then Will opened his gift and loved the mini stick Josh got him and the t-shirt I picked out. Then his Dad opened his and loves the leafs jersey Josh go him as some sort of inside joke? I don't really know but he liked it. Then his Mom opened hers and loved the sweater I picked out and the mug Josh picked out. After everyone opens their gifts, Josh's Mom looks at me and smiles.*
Josh's Mom: Well Sam, we got you a little something! It's not much but I think you will like it!
Me: Thank you but you really didn't have to!
Josh's Mom: Oh! Open it already!
*I laugh and do as she says. As I do, I pull out a lovely scented candle and a gift card. I thank the family and help them clean up the wrapping paper. That is until someone drags me onto the porch and by someone I mean Josh. He spins me around and grips my hips. Are bodies are to close because I just want to connect the space between us. Josh beat me to it. He pulled me into him until our bodies literally became one and he crashed his lips onto mine. After a while, we pull away he he rest's his forehead on mine.*
Josh: I got you something...
*I smile remembering the gift I got him until I realize I left it at home.*
Me: Shit! I left yours at home!
*He chuckles and pulls me onto their porch swing. He looks into my eyes after adjusting his body so it's facing me, me doing the same.*
Josh: It's fine, here!
*He hands me 2 little rectangles wrapped in cute little santa and elf wrapping paper. I unwrap it to reveal a beautiful sketch book and the best sketching pencils.*

*I throw my arms around his neck.*
Me: Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
*He laughs and hugs me*
Josh: I love your drawings and you said you ran out of paper so maybe now you can draw us!
*I look at him and nod, smiling like crazy. I admire the book, going through the pages while Josh laughs at me.*
Josh: God, I love you so much!
*I blush and look at him with an even bigger smile on my face.*
Me: I love you!
*He kisses me and I lean my head on his shoulder as we watch the sun rise higher into the sky as we joke around and talk.*
