I say bye to Charli and walk to my car. I get in my car and sink into my seat.I'm so tired. Then, someone taps on my window causing me to jump. I look and see Josh chuckling. I am guessing he saw me jump in my seat. I laugh a little as I roll down my window so he can hear me.
Me: God Josh! You freaked me out!
*He continues to laugh*
Josh: I was wondering if you wanted to maybe hang out tonight?
*I softly smile*
Me: Thanks for the offer Josh, but i'm really tired today.
*He nods still smiling*
Josh: Thats fine! Another time! But still expect that call from me!
*I laugh and shake head*
Me: Ok Josh, I'll talk to you when I get home!
He smiles widely and waves as I roll up my window. He walks away from my car and I play some music through my car speakers. A lot of people call my music depressing but I just like sad songs. I then pull out of the parking lot and head home. When I get home, I put some left over pizza in the microwave. As it's heating up, I run downstairs and use the bathroom.. I put my hair in a messy bun and change into this:

Just as I walked downstairs, the microwave beeped. I took out my pizza and started eating. I was scrolling through tiktok when I got a face time call from Josh. I picked it up and leaned my phone against a cup so he could see me. He laughs as I shove pizza in my mouth. If I haven't said it before, I LOVE food.
Josh: Hey Sam!
I wave as I am still eating my pizza and he just laughs at me more. I can't help but laugh.
Josh: So, what are you planing on doing tonight?
*I laugh*
Me: Well, I was planning on watching OuterBanks for the 10th time and going to sleep at 9:30!
*He laughs*
Josh: Sounds likes fun!
I smile and nod my head rapidly. I don't know Josh that well, but I feel like I can be myself around him. I've never felt this way for a guy before. I kinda just stayed away cause it would happen to all my friends. They would fall in love with a guy and trust him just so he can leave her life. She would be so heart broken and I don't want that for myself. But for some reason, I could see myself dating Josh. What am I saying! I am not and will not date Josh Richards! He snaps me out of my thoughts by saying:
Josh: You ok?
I smile and nod my head.
Josh: So, I was thinking about you...
Me: Look Josh, I will not date you!
How much I wanted to though. He just laughs.
Josh: Not what I was going to say, but good to know! I was actually wondering if I could start hanging out with you more?
*I laugh*
Me: Yeah, I guess! But why would you want to? I'm not popular or anything!
*He laughs*
Josh: I don't care about that! You seem like a really cool person and I want to get to know you! Every single bit of you!
Hearing that gives me butterflies in my stomach. What is happening to me!
Me: Well, I would love for you to hang out with me!
We both just laughed. Why the hell did I say that! Why does it feel so easy to talk to him? I don't know him and he doesn't actually want to know me? Or do I not want to tell him about me? Am I the problem? He just thinks i'm this basic boring girl, but my life is not basic or boring. For a little while longer, we talked. I don't know why, but I feel like I could trust him. Its super weird but I feel like theres this... maybe, connection? Anyways, I finished eating and brought my plate to the sink. I brought my phone over as well so I could continue to talk to Josh. He told me a lot about him and I got to know him better. There where a lot of laughs and giggles because of childhood stories. After I finished doing a couple of dishes, I grabbed my phone with Josh still on it and ran up to my room. I put phone on the night stand and jumped onto the bed. I cuddled under the blankets and covered my face. I can hear Josh laugh through my phone speaker. I uncover my face and laugh along with him. We talk for a little while longer until we both get tired.
Me: Goodnight Richards! I'll see you tomorrow!
*He smiles at the nickname*
Josh: Goodnight Parker!
I hang up and plug my phone into the charger. I then quickly fall asleep with Josh on my mind. What is happening to me?
