I have never felt this way towards anybody before. I think he noticed because he's chuckling.
Josh: Your cute when you blush!
I blush even more and cover my face while giggling. I then continued eating my fries and Josh ate his food.
Josh: So, why'd you move?
*I sighI
Me: My mom needed a job and found a couple over here so she took it causing us to move.
Just because he makes me feel different doesn't mean that i'm going to open up to him. He just nods.
Josh: You don't talk much?
*I shake my head*
Me: I like to listen more than talk!
*He laughs*
Josh: Well, I talk a lot!
*I laugh and he smiles*
Josh: Well, I have 2 sibling, Olivia and Will. And my life's not interesting at all!
*I laugh*
Me: Oh please! You are one of the most popular boys in this school! Your life is all fun and games!
*He laughs and smirks*
Josh: Have you been asking people about me?
*I shake my head and we both laugh a little*
Me: Nope! I can just tell!
*He nods and talks about me a little more*

*SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL*
I was at my locker with Charli and then we started walking towards our cars. We got in our separate cars an each of us drove to the little coffee shop across the street. When we get there, me and Charli are the only ones working. Charli showed me everything even how to make the little foam deign on the top of the coffee. It was pretty easy to catch on to and i've worked at a coffee shop before. Of course, Charli spilled coffee all over herself. She really needs to stop doing that. Soon enough, people started to crowed the store. I didn't think that that the shop would fill up this fast, but I was VERY wrong. The shop was filling up fast and I was working all alone cause Charli had to go home and change quickly. Lucky for me, I have worked at a couple coffee shops before. I knew my way around so I was doing just fine. I was looking down, not looking up at my customer when I say:
Me: Hi, how may I help you today?
Then I hear:
Random: Hey Parker!
I look up and see Josh. A small smile grows on my face. What is happening to me?
Me: What can I get you Richards?
*He laughs*
Josh: You and me on a date?
*I shake my head and laugh*
Me: What about being just friends? That's the only reason I gave you my number!
*He shrugs*
Josh: I guess I changed my mind!
*I sigh*
Me: Sorry to tell you Richards, but I didn't! So, what can I get you?
*He laughs*
Josh: I will pretend that didn't hurt! May I please just have a medium iced coffee?
*I laugh*
Me: Of course sir!
He just laughs and stands there waiting for me to make his coffee. I can feel his gaze on my body. Does he actually like me? No way, why would someone like him want to date someone like me? What am I saying! I will not be dating anybody anytime soon! I can't, it's just to hard with my past. I can't put all my love and faith into someone els, just for them to leave my life and leave me broken. Thats why I have never gotten close with anybody. Once they find out about my dad and my past, there just going to leave cause they'll think i'm a slut and wont like me anymore. I can't take anymore damage. It will literally kill me and if it doesn't, my thoughts will. You could call me an over thinker cause i'm pretty sure i am. I finished the coffee which was pulling me out of my thoughts. I turned around and Josh's gaze went from my body to my eyes. I could tell you that if it where anybody els, I would have felt uncomfortable. But for some reason, he didn't make me feel uncomfortable. What am I saying! I barely know him. I hand Josh his coffee and he thanks me.
Josh: Thank you!
Me: No problem!
No body is ever this nice. Usually they just order, pay and go. But he was very respectful and it kinda made me feel like he was different than all of the guys i've ever met before. God, shut up Sam! I shake my head to myself and Josh turns around to walk away. Before he walks away, he turns around.
Josh: I'll call you later Sam! This time we are actually going to talk!
*I shake my head and laugh*
Me: Bye Josh!
He then walks to a table with Jaden, Bryce, Kio and Anthony sitting at it. Charli than comes back and we fool around behind the counter for a while. I caught Josh staring at me a couple of times but I just ignored it. Finally, my shirt was over at 8:45.
