I am at my locker with Charli and Mads. They are coming over to help me get ready for my date with Josh. Well, my like 10th date with Josh. But this date is special, it is our 1 month anniversary. To me, that's a big deal. We pack our bags since it's the weekend and we head to my car. Jaden picked up Mads today and Dixie drove Charli so there where no cars we have to worry about. Me and Mads get in the front while Charli gets in the back.
Charli: Why do I always have to sit in the back?
*Me and Mads laugh as I shake my head at the whiney tone in Char's voice*
Me: Because your the youngest!
Charli: Bruh! I-I I'm literally the same age as you!
*I laugh*
Me: But your the baby of us!
*She crosses her arms and shakes her head, leaning back in her seat staring out the window. Me and Mads laugh at Charli's actions cause we all know she is joking. Thats just how our little dysfunctional friend group functions. Mads plays some music and Charli dance's in the back as I drive home. About 10 minutes later, I pull into my drive way. We all hop out of the car and start walking up to my house. The girls are excited to dress me up and make me look pretty but I'm just excited to see Josh and spend the night with him. We walk into my house and I see my Mom in the kitchen washing dishes.*
Me: Hey Mom!
*She smiles and hugs me then my 2 friends. Mads and my Mom have also grown quite close over the past month.*
Mom: So, what are you girls doing tonight?
*The girls look at me with their eyebrows raised and I smile*
Me: It's me and Josh's 1 month anniversary tonight so we are going out!
*My Mom jumps up and hugs me again. I laugh and so do my friends and my Mom.*
Mom: I'm so happy that your happy! Now go get ready! I will not let you go on a date looking like that!
*I laugh as she points to my outfit that includes a hoodie and a pair of leggings. Well, Josh's hoodie.*
Me: Ok ok, I'll go get ready!
*We all laugh while me and the other girls make our way to my room. We walk into my room and I plop down on the bed while the girls go through my closet to find me an outfit. I'm mentally exhausted from the week but also super exited for tonight. As Charli and Mads go through my closet, I hear some yelling:*
Charli: Where are you going?
*I shrug my shoulders even though they can't see me*
Me: I don't know, he said it was a surprise but I do know I have to dress fancy!
*Charli groans*
Charli: Josh takes you on anonymous dates to much!
*We all laugh and they continue to go through my closet to find an appropriate outfit for me to wear for tonight.*
Me: I'm going to shower quickly!
*They nod and I grab a towel. I go into my bathroom and lock the door behind me. I hop in the shower for 15 minutes and then hop out only wearing undergarments and a big t-shirt as I know they are going to make me change. I walk out of the bathroom only to be pushed back in with an out fit in my hands.*
