Me and Charli walk into the cafeteria on Tuesday morning and order our food. Today, I actually am staying for lunch because me and Charli got in trouble yesterday for leaving school without prenatal permission. I don't really have parents so I don't know what they expect me to do but whatever! We start walking to the table we always sit at after getting our food from the kind lunch lady like always. As I walk past the table Josh it sitting at, we make eye contact for a quick while. I quickly look away and think about leaving again but decide against it since I don't want to get Charli in trouble again and there is no way she will let me leave by myself with out her coming with me. Me and Charli sit down r our usual table and I take a quickly glance back at Josh's table. I notice Mads and Jaden not as close as they usually are. Probably the wrong thing to be focusing on but I don't give a shit. They are sitting on opposite ends of the table, not making eye contact and not talking to each other, only to their friends. That NEVER happens. They are always so close and touchy. Something has to be wrong between the two of them. I look at Charli and jerk my head towards the table they are sitting at.
Me: Do you know whats up with them? They are never like that.
*She looks at me confused*
Charli: Who?
*I playfully role my eyes*
Me: Mads and Jaden idiot!
*We both laugh a little but hers comes out as a more nervous laugh and I have no idea why.*
Charli: Oh yeah, they kinda broke up?
*I look at her confused*
Me: What do you mean kinda?
*She stares at her food*
Charli: They broke up.
*I nod still confused*
Me: Why?
*She gulps*
Charli: They both fell out of love with each other and J-Jaden fell in love with someone else.
*I look at her shocked, never in a million years would I think Jaden would love someone other than Madison Lewis*
Me: Who?
*She stares at her food again and gulps, again.*
She quickly says: Me.
*I look at her confused on what I just heard*
Me: What!
*She smiles shyly and looks at me, finally.*
Charli: Yeah, we're kinda together? We're talking but we have already told each other we loved each other. It came out in an argument!
*She lightly laughs and I am even more shocked. Definitely didn't expect that to happen. ( A/N: Bet you didn't! It just got juicy 😼)*
Me: What-When-how?
*She shrugs and laughs at the stutter in my voice*
Charli: It just kinda happened? I had a tiny crush on him and then we started hanging out just the 2 of us and then we became best friends. But it's more than that now!
*I laugh*
Me: Fuck yeah it is!
*We both laugh*
Me: Does Mads know about the two of you?
*She nods*
Charli: They both talked it out and Mads likes another person too. They both said they fell out of love but they said they are still friends!
*I nod and smile*
Me: Oh my god! I am so happy for you!
*She laughs and I pull her into a hug. Jaden with definitely treat her right and for that, he's bestie approved. She starts telling me about how much she likes him and I can tell that she really does love him. Then, we hear an explosion of laughter coming from "The popular" table where Josh, Jaden and Mads are all sitting as well as the others. Nessa stands up on the table, laughing as she and her little short ass get on it. She continues to laugh and claps her hands together to get everyones attention.*
Nessa: Hey, everyone shut up for a fucking second! I have something to say!
*Everyone looks at her and she quickly laughs.*
Nessa: Ok, so everyone knows Josh;s ex girlfriend also the girl that split us up but she is also known as Samantha Parker!
*Everyone except Josh looks at me and my smiles drops at the sudden attention. Nothing good can come out of Nessa's mouth and i'm scared of what she's about to say, She smirks at me and gives me one of hose annoying, fake waves if you know what I mean.*
Nessa: I found out some cool things about her so why not share them with everyone else?
*I scrunch my face up together as her and her girlfriends laugh. She takes a deep breath to clam herself down after laughing.*
Nessa: Well for starters, her mom is dead!
*She laughs and I stay confused because i'm pretty sure everyone knew about my Mom already?*
Nessa: And her Dad was an abusive drug addict!
*I feel my eyes start to water. I only told one person that and that was Josh. She stares at me deep in the eye with an evil smirk on her face.*
Nessa: She lost her virginity at 10 years old! Her Dad would sell her body to men so he could buy drugs with the money they would pay him for them to fuck her!
*Tears start to fall and I hear a faint 'Nessa, thats enough' from Josh.*
Nessa: Oh! And her Dad almost killed her onetime after beating her so bad! She had sex with over 30 men before she was even 15! I wouldn't be surprised if she cheated on Josh! She's a fucking slut!
*I stand up*
Josh shouts at Nessa: Shut the fuck up!
*I throw my bag over my shoulder and wipe my tears. Josh looks at me and we make eye contact for a minute before I break it by running out of the cafeteria. How could she find all this stuff out? Why did he tell her?
