Josh parks the car on one end of the street and we all get out. We all walk up the side walk to Bryce's house who is hosting the party.As we get closer, Josh grabs my hand and starts pushing our way though the crowd. I grab Charli's arm so we don't get separated as we walk through the group. As we walk into the house, the sent of alcohol, weed and sweat lingers through my nose. Charli sniffs in and smiles.
Charli: Oh how I missed the party smell!
*I laugh and Josh runs into Bryce and they start talking*
Charli: Lets go get drinks!
*I nod and tell Josh*
Josh: Ok, can you get me a white claw please?
*I nod cause you can barely hear anything over the music and me and Charli walk off, moving our bodies to the beat as we do. We walk into the kitchen and it is a lot less empty than the rest of the house. Me and Charli walk up to the counter and she grabs 2 solo cups. She fills them half way with vodka and half way with lemonade. I don't mind drinking, I just don't do it a lot. When I do drink, I don't even drink a lot. I grab Josh a white claw and as I turn around, Charli is chugging her drink. I laugh and shake my head at her. She refills her cup as I take a sip of my strong drink but I like the tingly feelings it sends down my throat. After Charli refills her drink, she takes a sip and a smile of satisfactory spreads across her face making me chuckle.*
Me: Char don't drink to much, ok? And be safe! If something happens you text me, Josh, Mads or Jaden or anybody I don't fucking care who just somebody, ok?
*She nods and smiles at me.*
Charli: I promise! Now lets go fucking dance!
*I laugh as she pulls me back through the crowd again and back to Josh. I hand him his drink and he quickly pecks my lips, thanking me. I tell him where me and Charli are just so he knows where to find us after.*
Josh: Yeah, I can see you guys! I will be here if you need me!
*Charli yells my name and pulls me onto the dance floor. We laugh and dance a lot. A bunch of guys came up to us and tried to dance with us but I quickly shooed them off. Charli did the same, occasionally letting a random guys dance with her for a couple of minutes. Not to long after, Josh comes over and dances with me. Charli goes off and dances with a random guy that she danced with earlier not to far from me and Josh. I swear it only felt like 20 minutes but it is now 11:30 and we are still dancing. We arrived at the party at 9:30. I have had about 2 drinks and so have Josh. We both agreed to stop drinking since Josh is the DD and by the time we leave the party, all the alcohol will have left Josh's body and he will be ok to drive. I just didn't want to drink anymore. I like being sober at parties because I know what is going on and I don't like getting drunk cause I have more fun when i'm sober. Getting drunk makes me feel gross so I just don't do it. After the music beat becomes a little bit slower, Josh whispers in my ear:*
Josh: Want to get away from the crowd?
*I nod and he takes my hand. He guides me away from the dance floor and up the stairs. He goes into Bryce's room and climbs out the window, me doing the same. He goes on the roof top and sits down. I sit down next to him and we look at the pretty stars in the night sky. The music is muffled from out here so we can talk without having to shout or whisper into each other's ears over the loud nosies. Me and Josh just talk for a while before both of our phone alarms start going off. That means it's mid-night. I look at Josh to see he has the same wide rin on his face that I have on mine.*
Josh: Happy New Year baby!
*I chuckle*
Me: Happy New Year my love!
*Our faces slowly get closer together like a magnet*
Josh: I'm going to kiss you now!
*I nod and smile*
Me: You better!
*He quickly pulls me into a sweet yet passionate kiss full of love. At that moment, everything drowned out. I didn't hear any music of voices and I didn't see anything except Josh. I didn't feel anything other than his body under my arms and it felt like we were floating. It felt like it was just the 2 of us in our own world. After a couple minutes, we pull away and continue to talk. A couple hours later, around 3AM we decide to go home. Josh, Jaden, Charli and Mads are all crashing at mine tonight. The party was pretty empty and it didn't take long for us to find everyone. Once we got to my house, everyone changed into the clothes that they brought over earlier that consisted of mostly track pants and over sized tops. I changed into track pants and one of Josh's hoodies that was big on me. Me and Josh slept in my room and the rest of our friends slept down stairs on the couches. I cuddle up to Josh and he wraps his arms around me.*
Me: I love you Josh.
*He pulls me closer to him and kisses my head*
Josh: I love you too angel, goodnight.
And with that.... I fell asleep.
