Chapter 9

He stood there, leaning against the practice rooms outer wall, tape recorder in his hand.He wore a small smile on his face. He looked so accomplished.

At this point I didn't care how attractive he was, he just needed to know that I was sooo tempted to punch him right now.

"Are you for real?" I asked sternly.

His smile faded. Shawn clenched his jaw and looked around at the empty music block.

"So think you think it's just okay to walk on in from Canada, and invade someone privacy while your here? For God's sake I was in a  practice room! A practice room is where you go so nobody can here you! Oh wait. It must have a different meaning in Canada! Is it even possible to be that obnoxious!? Unbelievable. "

He opened his mouth to protest, but shut it almost straight away.

"I even thought you were nice- but nice people dont just follow you into practice rooms and listen to you! It common courtesy to knock like this," I hammered my wrist onto the wall and gave him a patronising smile.

"Its really easy- you should try it sometime."

I had had enough. I turned on my feet and started to walk back to the practice room door feeling like absolute goddamn badass. I threw open the door and pulled off my blazer, throwing it to the other side of the room near the piano stool.

I stood there, in the middle of the enclosed room, hands on  my head. Sighing out, I closed my eyes taking in what I had just done. I just shouted at an almost complete stranger- I guess he just brings out the best in me, ya know?

My body tensed up as I felt a sudden hand snake around my waist. It pulled me around and I looked up to see Shawn. His jaw was clenched and his eyes were now a darker brown.

I was frozen to the spot, unable to move. He leaned in and I could feel his hot breath on my neck. My breath hitched.

"Well I think you, and  your voice is  beautiful." He whispered into my ear.

I had no time to react before he pushed me against the back of the door and crashed his lips against mine.
