Chapter 21

5th July

I woke up in the midst of the hotel duvet and tonnes of white pillows. I'd had a dreamless sleep and no memory of how I had gotten in my bed.

Sunlight was not streaming through the blinds because they were closed. Something I never do. See, I always forget to close the blinds, so I came to the conclusion that either I forgot I did them, or someone did them for me.

I rub my eyes and lazily reach for my phone, neatly charging on the tided nightstand. In fact, as I glanced around my room, it looked pretty tidy. I couldn't help but laugh at myself. It seemed that my-after-party-self wasn't a crazy bitch like I feared, but a good cleaner. That or this hotel has creepy night cleaners.
Aside from my bed, my room was spotless, even the pillows on my couch had been neatly rearranged.

I chuckle and feel my head start to ache. I blame Taylor for that, him and his damn drinks. I take my phone off charge and unlock it. I log on to my twitter and wait a few moments while my phone vibrates from the sheer amount of notifications. That would be the pictures from last night, which I was really dreading.
Ever since I met Nash and Cameron, my social media has gone absolutely mental. I scrolled down my feed until I saw a huge bulk of pictures attached in one of Matthew's tweets.

Awww this ones cute.

Squad goals.

......

Oh shiet.

He had to put the video of me falling of Cameron.

That's awkward af.

But it's still quite funny.

And that's when I started to get floodloads of mentions. People were making gifs. Pretty hilarious ones too. They were mostly of my shocked face and then me losing my balence. There were thousands of them, all entitled things like 'When I see Nash Grier,' and 'When I heard that Zayn had left one direction.' I favourited and retweeted a few. It seemed like a good idea to just go along with it.

The video was obviously spreading fast, thousands of fans were tweeting me, asking if I was okay. Some people were angry that I was on Cameron's shoulders in the first place , and some people just commented #cameria. In fact, it had trended worldwide along with #asknash, #ukelections and #mendesmysterygirl etc.
I just chuckled, Cam is nothing but a friend to me, however attractive he may be. There was only one person I was interested in, and that was the person that made me fall off Cameron - Shawn.

I don't think he recognised me. Who would? Our 'encounter' was over a year ago - I look different now. Plus, I was wearing a tonne of makeup from Emmy - which I forgot to take of and is now all over my pillow.
He just wouldn't, it was too far away and too dark.

I had lost him, again.

I sighed and fell back into the pillows on my bed.

There was only one thing that could save me from this heartbroken and exasperated state.

Pizza.

I reached lazily for the beside phone, but managed to knock something off the table.

Dafudge?

A muffin?

I roll over, reaching off the side of the bed to grab it.

5 second rule.

That rule applies every time, especially as this muffin is a chocolate chip one.

I sit up and glance at the table. There was a little yellow sticky note. It read 'You're lucky you don't need stitches! x'

Either I leave myself sticky notes when I'm drunk, or room service is a bit overly friendly.
