Chapter 6

Oh my God.
No. No. No.
Please say it isn't Shawn.

"So, are you just going to lay on top of me or what?" He asked, I could feel that he was smirking.

"Sorry -I'm so Sorry - I assure you I didn't mean to! It was by accident! Sorry!" I felt his chest move up and down as he started to chuckle.

In the most awkward way I could have ever managed, I kind of rolled/fell off Shawn. Very much aware that everybody in my gym class was staring at us. I pushed my self of the ground and stood up,dusting myself off. I could feel his gaze on me, his brown eyes looking me up and down. I hid my face in my hands because I knew it would be bright red.

"Once again, I am so sor-"

"Shhhh, it's fine really. I am just glad you didn't hurt your pretty little self."

Was he flirting?

I cannot flirt. End of. A baby that cannot talk is better at flirting than me. Alice is the Flirty and spontaneous one, I just stand there awkwardly blushing.

He bit his lip and smirked, before twisting round to find half the girls in our gym class running over to see if he was okay. Some of them, who I don't really speak to,  turned around and shot me menacing glares. They were practically all over him. Touching his arms, laughing at his jokes, you name it and they where attempting it. Wow, that sounded dodgy.

I turned around and covered my face with my hands. Jax ran up to me and put his arm around my shoulder, which made the girls even more jealous.

"Listen, it really wasn't that bad. Everyone was more concentrated on what happened to the ball after you tripped on it."

I felt my cheeks, already red from the accident, turn even redder.

"Oh crap what did I do!"

"Well you fell with such a force that it went flying up into the air, bounced off the wall and went through the window over there. Long story short, loads of people were out there looking for the ball rather than watching you and whats-his-face  have a moment!"

I smacked his arm.

"It was not a moment! Your turning into Alice!"

He faked an offended face and laughed, as he was called up for a basketball team.

But that left a bigger question on my mind.

Was I starting to fall - rather literally- for a boy I had just met?

I have the story planned out now, so it should start to make more sense now.
