10th July

It's currently 11 in the morning and I am still in my pajamas. The TV is playing some random American show -something about meeting mother's or something? Anyway, I wasn't really paying attention as I was distracted by my phone which I held  above my head. I was laid on the couch, back on the seat cushions with my slipper covered feet  hanging over the armrest.

In my opinion, the best, most comfortable way to sit on a couch.

Pretty normal for a lazy morning/day? Yes, except I've been lounging around for the past couple days, I've been out a few times, but nothing to exciting - only with Em. But today I had decided to be a bit more productive- make use of the hotel facilities like the pool or the gym. I had been to a pool but never a gym so it seemed that my fate was destined.

But you have no clothes to workout in?

I picked out some leggings and an old T-shirt, it was actually a Pajama top, but it's not like people will notice. They will be too engrossed in trying to lift weights or something. And it's around lunchtime so it should be pretty empty.

I grab my headphones, phone, waterbottle  and leave the room, walking on the spiky hallway carpet to the gym.

After deciding the weights looked way too hard, I had picked up one of the yoga mats  from the container and laid it out on the floor. Yoga seemed like a good idea- I quite fancied being toned. My motivation was all the girls on tumblr,  with their flat toned stomach's that make me so jealous. I just wanted to feel better about myself. Every time I wear anything I always feel self-contious. I don't have a thigh gap, or toned arms, or a jawline, or a flat stomach - all the thing that girls are expected to have? I am me - and perhaps at least feeling like I've exercised will make me more confident.
But that change  was never going to magically appear overnight (no matter how much I wanted it too), so I ought to at least try to get fitter.

After attempting the tree, the dog and a bow pose ,  I was now about to do a plank.

Arms out in front of you.

Check.

Lift your body.

Oumpff

And make sure to keep your back and body flat.

Okay, Okay, I got this.

30 seconds later and I was struggling.

"Your ass is too high."

SHAWN?

I fall to the floor and hurriedly scramble to sit up.

I hadn't seen or heard from him since the park.

He was in his gym gear. White tank top and black  shorts. My eyes widened- his body was quite visible through the thin shirt material.

Does he have a six pack?

Blimey. How'd he manage that.

Even though he was my friend, I couldn't help but check him out a little bit. I mean, it's not like I'm not allowed or anything.

"Here let me help." He smiled.

Shawn bends down to my  level. "Try again, I'll help you." I scrambled back to lie of the yoga mat and pushed myself into a plank.
He places his hands onto my waist, his touch sending shivers cascading down my spine. I started to breathe heavier as time went by, even with his support it was still demanding. 

"Keep going," he reassured, " Just another 30 seconds."

Come on Elvira!
