10 minutes later and I am sitting in registration class with my friend Jax.
Jax is a family friend, I’ve known him since I was little. He is way more popular than me. For one, he is social, throws loads of parties and not to mention all the girls he has at his fingertips. He has light brown hair that is always spiked up in a quiff. I would probably find him attractive if we weren't such good friends. To be completely honest, I don't actually know how we became friends because we are so opposite, but it works so hey ho."Elvira Heyes?"
Miss Solomon's voice knocks me out of my trance.
"Ummm... Oh Sorry! Here miss?" I say quickly.
Embarrass yourself why don't you!
"Tabitha Kaiwood?"
We all slowly went silent as the register carried on. I took this time to look around the room. I could see 3 new hea- no 4 new heads in our class. The exchange students?
As they answered the register, you could tell they we're foreign. This was because if the choruses of "Oh my God! Say that again! Your accent is adorable!“ that were being shouted all around the room. Annoyingly, I sit at the back of our class so I couldn't see their faces all that well.
"Okay, class dismissed."
Time to do some snoopin'
I stood up and pushed my chair in. Not as sneakily as I would have liked, I shifted my head around, trying to catch a glimpse of any exchange students before they disappeared into the frantic stampede of people racing out the door.
Wow. That stampede could kill Mufasa.
Jax instantly picked up on what I was doing and raised his eyebrows at me.
"I see Alice's work Ellie, what has she set you up to now?"
"Nothing- only looking- no harm done! Gees Jax, you’re like an over-protective brother!" I laughed.
"See you in gym!” he shouted as he stood up and disappeared into the mass of students trying to get out the door.
Crap.
I was on my way out and I realised I hadn't zipped up my bag. As I turned round I was knocked by the crowd. My bag spewed its contents on to the floor, my binders and pens flying out everywhere.
Urrgghhh
I stooped down to start picking sheets and pens off the floor. The crowds had all gone now and I was very awkwardly sprawled on the floor, trying to collect all my stationar. I thought I was very much alone in that classroom, so I jumped like hell when I heard a musical Canadian voice-
"Hey, you need help?"
