Extra Extra Long Update! :3

6th July

I scuffed my combat boots on the pavement as I walked. Crowds of busy shoppers and commuters flooded past, I weaved through them, trying to look for signs to the park I 'd agreed to meet Shawn at.
So much had happened in the past 24 hours. I had been, well, reunited with someone I never thought I'd see again, and agreed to meet him with no question. Perhaps Shawn's innocence was a cover, and he was actually a serial killer or some kind of viscous axe murderer.

I looked both ways at the road and stepped of the kerb, blending in with the other crossers. Sometimes I liked to blend in. It was nice, just watching the world around you, not worrying about all your problems. But I knew that soon, if my career took off, I wouldn't be able to blend in, I would be the attention. The thought of that made me excited, as I had never really had the chance to be popular at school. But deep down, I knew I would miss being able to walk around freely, not caring about photographers or what I was wearing.

I stepped up onto the opposite kerb and looked up at the gated entrance. Black gothic rail gates stood at the entrance to the park, small, intricate strands of ivy had wound themselves around it. They dangled down like a curtain. You'd think it look so out of place within the frantic city centre but no, the contrast was nice.

I glance around, looking for an extremely tall teen with messy hair. Shawn was leaning against a nearby lampost, his eyes glued to his phone screen. He was wearing a maroon baseball T-shirt and light brown shorts. As he played what looked like candy-crush, he adjusted the black sunglasses that were laying lazily on his head. I took a deep breath and started to make my way over to him.

"Shawn?" I spoke quietly, I felt as nervous as I sounded.

"Mmhm? Oh Ellie!" He moved his gaze away from his phone, "Sorry, I didn't see you there- this game is so intense." He raised his phone up in emphasis. "I've travelled so much in the past few days I've made it to like, level 179. I bet my mom would be proud." He grinned and I chucked, his excitement was just too cute.

He switched off his phone and slipped it into his pocket. He tapped his sides and looked at me in the eyes. "So, shall we walk?" He pointed his hands at the park path.

"Yes," I nodded, "We shall."

He laughed and we started to walk. "So, how's tour life for you? It's your first tour right?"

"Yeah, it's my first tour. It's kinda weird knowing that I won't be back in London for over 3 months, I mean it's so exciting and cool, but I do sometimes miss home. You start to long for a good English cup of tea."

He looked at his feet, clearly amused.

"When I go to Britain, I will make sure to try a cup."

"Yeah, the stuff here just doesn't compare! It's it tastes more fruity and sweet-and it isn't as strong. "

Out of all the topics I could of chosen to talk about, I chose tea..... wow.

"Elvira the tea expert." He sniggered.

"Oh shuttup." I giggled as I playfully hit his arm. Shawn froze and stepped back, pretending to be offended.

"Oh no, you did not just hit me." He sassed and clicked his fingers. I stayed silent and smirked in response.
"Elvira Heyes. You did not just hit me." He moved his head to the side and raised his eyebrows. I tried to keep a straight face as he pursed his lips together.

I don't know whether it was his 6'2 height to my 5'5; or his current blank expression that made him appear actually quite intimidating.

Is this the bit where he reveals that he is an evil murderer and tries to kidnap me?
