Nash?

My phone buzzed in my hand. It was a twitter notification.

@nashgrier: @elviraheyes surprise bish

What the?

He grinned at me as he walked across the room to us. I just sat on the stall in awe.

"Long time no see Nash." Shawn chuckled.

How the fudge.

Nash reached his arm out to Shawn across the kitchen counter. Shawn smiled in response and returned the arm hug.

"So, how's my favourite brother going? Sorry Hayes."

I look quickly between Nash and Shawn.

They're brothers?

Nash laughed. "Whoa, Elvira, chill. We're not really related."

I breathed out heavily, shaking my head.

"Unfortunately enough Nash is my brother." Came a voice from the doorway. A boy who looked around my age, if not a little younger, weaved his way out of the crowd that surrounded the doorway.

"Thanks, Hayes. And that sarcasm is exactly why I am Dad's favourite."

Hayes frowned, and span round to start a conversation with Bandanna Boy as the rest of, what looked like all boys, filed out from the door and into the room. I recognised them all of course, from the party. They were still just as loud, yelling at each other and waving their phones in each other faces.

"Hey, Heyes," Cameron said to me, "I was expecting you to fall off your chair in shock."

The crowd stopped being rowdy and went quiet, Cameron pushed his lips together. All eyes turned to face me.

I faked a serious face and shifted on my stool uncomfortably, just as if I was offended. I felt Shawn's gaze burning onto the back of my head as I turned round to face the wall. I couldn't even make it three seconds before I burst into laughter.

Pathetic Elvira, pathetic.

I heard a couple sighs of relief.

"Guys, It's okay. I'm good now, it's fine to make jokes." I chuckled as I span back round to face them on my stool. The GIFs were still occasionally popping up on my feeds, but that's expected. I didn't think it would die down that quickly. According to Alice, pretty much everyone in my old sixth-form classes have either seen or heard of it. So that's going to be awkward when I visit home.

However, I'd done a bit of internet research (via twitter) and wondered if I should try to make a comeback.

"And it's funny Cameron, because I was expecting you to stand on a tin can."

I didn't really know why that was funny, but I'd seen people on twitter talking about it. Therefore I would just have to play along with the outcome.

If he walks out then you're screwed.

I heard Shawn snigger from behind me, and him pat me on the back.

Cameron just shook his head and put his hand to his forehead.

"The amount of times I've heard that. But I've got to credit you for that one. She's learning Shawn, she's learning."

Shawn just rolled his eyes and turned back to the fridge.

"Drinks anyone?"

===

"And then, and then she -"Shawn paused, unable to speak from laughter. He held his forehead and took a deep breath.
