Waters surrounding each Lunthoria were calm. Unable to be seen by players, an interdimensional bubble surrounding each one. As players travelled outwards, it took around twenty minutes to hit the bubble wall. After that, the sea could be different, and all players now found themselves in the dangers of Avilien, as if Lunthoria didn't have dangers of its own.
Three hours on the water, it had remained calm and enabled Dave to reach Mixten rather quickly as the giant island could be seen on the horizon. Even sick, Luke had to admire what his eyes were seeing. Mixten was a giant mechanical city with bronze towers the size of skyscrapers. Huge cogs the size of the towers seemed to move and make the steam stacks around the city work. Drawing closer there was even a bronze steam train that hurtled around the island, through the wilds and forests on a track. The size of Mixten made Lunthoria look like a dot.
Besides the vast countryside, forests and lakes there was another sight that took a person's breath away. Small islands floated in the sky surrounding the city and appeared to have structures on them. Small steam-powered aircrafts ferried people from the city up to the islands and down again. Luke remained impressed as he noticed that the waterfalls coming off the floating islands were not pouring down, but in fact, the water was going up.
"Land ahoy!" cried out Dave as he spun the helm.
"Because we didn't see it already," grumbled Split in a sarcastic tone.
"Takes your breath away when you first see it. Avilien is like this everywhere. Be it in a wartorn town or a city or places of natural beauty; it never gets dull," Nagori stretched her arms into the air. "Cissy will meet up with us at the inn. None of us have quests to do here as its all profession-based. For its size, the city isn't all that big with two roads that loop on one another, and it lacks quests."
"Fine by us, sooner we're done here then we can go to Coco Island and save my potatoes." Nebs hopped back onto Luke's shoulder who wiped his mouth on the back of his hand.
"Coco island? Why do you want to go there? If you're thinking of learning the cooking profession, I'd forget it, Luke." Nagori grew concerned as did Trinity and Targoon as they each exchanged worrying looks.
"I told you why. We are going to save my potatoes." Nebs looked at a baffled Nagori as the boat bobbed up and down.
"Avoid the island Luke," Nagori spoke like a mother as if she was ordering Luke not to go.
"Got to go..." Luke tried to speak and then ended up with his head back over the side of the boat. He had never hated his life so much, even in a video game he got seasick. If that wasn't realism, then who knew what was?
"Damocles stripped me of my game guide, Mellow. His majesty is going to help me get him back and put an end to Damocles." Split dived into the conversation with more admiration for a sickly Luke.
"Sorry to hear about your guide, Split. But believe me, Luke. Damocles is someone you want to avoid," Nagori grew more concerned by the second. The mere mention of the name had Targoon and Trinity cowering in fear.
"Do you doubt my master?" asked Nebs. "After everything you have witnessed and myself."
"I don't doubt Luke," pleaded Nagori. "I don't doubt his skill. In gaming, Awesome Biscuit is top of the charts in everything he plays, but that is in the European servers. Luke plays solo, Avilien isn't designed for solo clearing at all. If you go up against Damocles, you have to go up against his entire army. Factor in the fact that he has over two years worth of Avilien experience and most of that is battle experience against other players. If you face him, Luke, the consequences could be dire," Nagori grew passionate and determined with what she was saying and stood up as the boat pulled into the dock.
