In the capital city of Zalanga, both Cissy and Nagori had begun cleaning the new guild best they could. Free of dust and webs it was still a wreck of a building and to repair the most damaged sections, they needed a skilled woodworker, metalworker, and maybe an artisan to spruce up the décor.

In terms of professions, Nagori had taken up the art of threading that allowed her to make silk and cloth armour along with clothes. At level three threading, she had over a hundred recipes and couldn't make anything as the materials required were too steep and too hard to get. Trinity her little firefox game guide learned botany as her profession to help pick flowers and plants but the ones needed the most in recipes were always in the hazardous areas.

Cissy undertook the art of blacksmithing and her little rock game guide Granite took up mining. Again the pair had issues. Ore, not only hard to locate was often up in the mountains or deep in chasms and caves. At certain altitudes, wyverns and gryphons liked to spawn and they were not the only creatures up in the mountains. Gollums, the size of houses, lay in wait as did harpies and giants.

Blacksmithing required a base weapon to work from, for instance, Crackling Thunder owned by Luke. Using certain ores, crafting ingredients, and ingredients dropped off of creatures Cissy could forge a new Crackling Thunder, a better version. Gems and enchantments could be added in the smelting process too to excel the weapon further. Even with such professions, there wasn't a single member in the guild of Daggers that hadn't wished they hadn't taken up cooking. Since Anna left, they had no one that could cook.

Breaking down rotting or already broken tables and chairs Cissy and Nagori added crude lumbar to their inventory. It could be sold for a few coppers and enough to get them a small amount of food. The guild sign that fell outside was broken down into scrap metal and in all the girls managed to accumulate fifteen coppers worth of materials.

"Do you think we should drop our professions and learn new ones, Cissy?" Nagori wiped the sweat from her head as she sat down on a stool next to Trinity.

"Sure, let me pull forty gold out from my magical purse. It's forty gold a piece to change a profession Nagori and between six of us that's two-hundred and forty gold. We can't even get one single gold piece to our name. This sucks!" Cissy screamed and kicked a table across the room. The table collided with a wall and made the wall to the vault room crumble.

On the cusp of a major meltdown, Cissy pulled at her hair as Nagori rushed over to hug her. Tensions were high because of their awful predicament but it hadn't been any better since arriving in Avilien, and they were not the only players suffering. Out of every player to grace the world of Avilien around seventy per cent was in the same or worse situation.

With a much-needed hug and a minute to calm down as Granite stuffed his little face with the rubble on the ground, Cissy felt better.

"We should get some sleep Nagori; it is night after all." Cissy wiped her eyes dry with the back of her hand as Nagori's holo watch vibrated. "Oh, who's the lucky guy that gets to send you mail at this hour eh?" Cissy laughed and gave a light elbow jab to Nagoris ribs.

Mail depended on distance travelled. The further away from the sender the longer the mail took to arrive. Nagori opened her watch to find a mail from her brother Lance. He had sent it from New Road five hours prior. The mail upon opening contained no words and two items.

"Why... why would Lance send this to me?" Nagori trembled as she tapped on the certificate of ownership for Tagroon and then clicked on Targoon becoming the new game guides master. After that, she dragged Targoon over into her inventory.

Not even able to click on Targoon before he leapt out of the holo watch and into the room, he sobbed and wailed like a newborn babe. Trinity, almost passed out from hunger on the bar woke more alert than ever and even Granite stopped consuming bricks.
