Beta players carved their way through the Tutorial Islands at an alarming rate. Unlike players before them, they adjusted and adapted. They overcame the problems around them, and for the most part, they enjoyed the thrill of the game. The further they went, and at breakneck speed, the tougher the challenges and it wasn't all to do with the quests. Awaiting the Beta users were guild after guild of pvpers, and no matter how hard the Beta users tried, they got swallowed by the all-encompassing tide and the iron grip of the dark guilds. Submit or perish. The two choices any defeated Beta class user was given.

Through Squeek's guidance and her gaming prowess, Brit blazed through all ten quests that the first island had to offer. In her head, Luke had overtaken her and would be on island twenty or thirty by now. She needed, no she had to catch up. Off the coast of Coco island, Brits eyes gleamed with the joy and delight of new sights and new smells. This island would prove to be a giant hurdle for her.

Aside from the first island other islands were clusters. You need not complete every island. From Lunthoria a player next had a choice between ten islands. All of them had a specific theme. The island Brit was ready to disembark on was a cooking, rearing, and leatherwork profession island. Players were allowed to pick any profession they would like but could only learn one. If they wished they could unlearn the profession and choose another but to survive better in Avilien, Brit had decided to make cooking her main profession.

Some of the other profession islands had upwards of five different professions to learn and the islands themselves were bigger. On a small powerboat named 'Dinky' Brit jumped up and down shaking the boat and angering the Grenchitty captain called Dave. Dave had an eyepatch over his left eye and a snaggletooth. Ginger in colour, he had tried to make out to Brit that he was the only seaworthy captain out of the ten thousand other Dave's. Brit found him to be adorable but never listened to a word he said.

Coco island, at least a third of it was made entirely of chocolate and sweets. Even the stream that gushed from the top of a frozen marshmallow mountain was chocolate. Though she had eaten, Brit's stomach growled in anticipation of docking on the island and eating everything in sight.

"Land ahead young adventurers. Be warned for great darkness lurks there," shouted Dave as Brit was busy cleaning her ears with her fingers.

"Did Larry say something to us Squeeks?" she asked as she smiled at Dave.

"His name is not, Larry! And he said darkness lurks here. Don't worry; we can handle it, Miss Brit. That I am sure of." Squeeks nibbled his last Worton carrot. An E ranked carrot that Brit got on a bargain sale stall for half a copper.

Seabreeze was blowing through her red locks as Brit put one foot onto the side of the boat and then launched herself into the air and across the water towards the chocolate dock made to look like wood. No other players or boats were in sight and try as she may to eat the dock she had to have level five cooking to harvest it. Ahead and following a chocolate brownie footpath was a tall forest of chocolate oaks, birch, and mahogany. Brit shook so bad with anticipation she vibrated.

Dave pulled alongside the dock and allowed Squeeks to get off via a tiny flip down ramp. Once next to his master Squeeks bowed his head to Dave.

"Thank you for the safe voyage. I wish you and your family well," said Squeeks with pleasantness.

"Mighty kind of ya. Good day to both and may you watch out for that darkness now," said Dave as he started to steer away.

"Thanks, Larry!" shouted Brit as she waved and still vibrated on the spot. After a minute, the boat was long gone and on its way back to Sewen. Squeeks hopped onto Brit's shoulder and his fur puffed up from her constant shaking and instead of him doing the sniffing, she took a huge gulp of the air.
