Word of Damocles' defeat swept across Coco island. Red players remaining in the town of Ice were sent to the undead prison by Luke, Lance, Brit, and Split as the others departed. Those able to flee had done so along with any people in the surrounding areas. After the town was cleaned up and only the four remained along with their guides they met back at the remains of the town hall.
Damocles had been left till last. On his back and now awake he was unable to move. He looked up at Luke, Brit, Lance, and Split. He coughed as he attempted to speak. Luke didn't let him. Luke saw how Brit reacted. She shivered at the sight of the man, so Luke hit the underworld option before a single syllable escaped the man's lips.
Sending Damocles to the underworld made Luke inherit the man's bounty bringing his total to one-thousand-three-hundred and thirty after sending other red players to the prison. Not only did Luke inherit the bounty he received the gold as a reward too. Each of Luke's friends now had bounties, for better or worse.
Split had forty gold, Lance, twenty gold, and Brit had fifty-six gold attached to her. Luke's bounty for being such a low level would see scores of players now hunt him down.
"So what do we do now?" asked Lance. The town felt empty and chilling with only the four of them and their guides.
"Finish up quests. Quinn wants to take up agriculture so I've got to head back to Mixten," explained Luke.
"I'm going to finish up my cooking quests. If I can." Brit hung her head. Each town void of Aviliens meant no quest givers.
"Give it time and they will all respawn and the damage will be repaired. I say we follow his Majesty to Mixten and finish up there. By the time we're done this place will be good as new," said Split.
"Majesty? What did I miss?" asked Lance as he noticed Luke sigh.
"Duke isn't a king you moron," Brit slapped Split around the back of the head and then laughed. "He is a god! Get it correct," she continued as she looked to the heavens and held her hands together.
"I'm going to regret this adventure," said Lance as he watched Brit and Split argue.
"How do you think I feel? You're the only normal human being here." Luke dragged his hands down his face.
"Before we leave, oh great master." Nebs grinned as he moved his head into Luke's face. "Tukon spud fields!" Nebs mention of spuds perked Mellow's ears.
As the group argued, talked and messed around the skies surrounding the island of Coco grew dark. Small balls of glistening light started to rain down instead of chocolate snow. A message appeared in the air before them all, the message reading 'Rollback in effect.' A rollback being a technical phrase that stood for restoring something to a previous point in time. You usually did this with infected computers.
Small specs of golden light hit buildings restoring them to what they looked like previous to the fight. Before any damage. The town hall respawned and the crater Atom left vanished. Avilien civilians were next to spawn in one after the other and light continued to rain down on the entire island.
Islanders looked at themselves as they spawned in. Others looked around expecting to be ambushed by red players. The town hall Mayor, a man half the size of Luke with a grey bushy styled beard, white hair, and a funny top hat with cat ears poking out of them swished his tail as he looked at Luke and the others. All damage had gone after five minutes with no evidence a battle took place, or that a dark guild had taken over.
"Is this your doing young ones?" cried the mayor in a shrill voice as he walked towards the group. Crowds of people followed behind, more rushing out of homes and shops.
Lance ready to step forward and draw his shield and sword stopped as the Mayor shed tears and dropped to his knees.
"Is it over? Have you rid us of that evil?" the Mayor's wrinkled eyes filled like pools.
"Well if you're on about the red players, they're all gone," said Split.
"Bless you all!" cried the Mayor with a meow at the end of his sentence. As he cried so did the townspeople.
"They're all awoken," mumbled Nebs, Luke able to hear him.
"So like Bill, they know all about Avilien and players?" questioned Luke.
"Seems so," replied Nebs.
"Is there anything we can get our heroes? You've saved us from years of torment and deletion," asked the Mayor as he looked up at the group.
"Thought that when you were deleted your data was gone?" Lance asked a good question.
"That is true throughout the mainlands of Avilien," said the Mayor. "But on these Tutorial Islands, our data doesn't flow back to the data stream. Instead, we float around or reshuffle before respawning. Now, surely we can offer you, fine heroes, a..."
"Tukon fields! All of the potatoes on Coco island" screamed Nebs as he hyperventilated.
"Done," replied the Mayor with a tap of his cane. Luke shook his head as Lance placed a hand on his.
"Purple idiot!" raged Lance, "We could have asked for anything."
"Spuds are life and this moron put me on rations!" raged Nebs as he pulled on Luke's ear.
"How many potatoes do the fields produce?" asked Luke.
"Around two-hundred per calendar month. A small price to pay. To think, we could have offered you rubies.." the Mayor laughed as Lance battled the urge to delete Nebs. They all battled the urge to strangle him.
"You're still on rations, Nebs. Could you see that the spuds are delivered to the Guild of Daggers? There are a lot of Grenchitties there. Should ease the burden of food supplies," explained Luke.
"But... But... Master..." Nebs hung his head and sulked as his ears flopped to the sides.
"Brit, I'll wait for you to finish your cooking quests. We need a cook." Luke smiled at Brit as her mind melted and her eyes rolled back into her head.
"She was a pain before this became her new normal. Get a grip Red!" Roared Lance as he shook Brit. The shaking making her snap back to reality.
"You want to go Prance?" she screamed as she drew her sword.
Townsfolklooked on at the four heroes and their guides with confusion. Across the land, more civilians came too and all towns returned to a sense of normality.
