Well earned food-filled rumbling bellies, and with a lighter atmosphere, Lukes groups now had three more additions as they set off out towards the small port town of Sewen. Luke had one final quest to complete. Another instant completion quest, that was handed out by Dave at the docks. The road to Sewen wasn't a long one, and with the odd groups of players keeping to themselves or the even fewer groups of players out in the wilds fighting beasts, the walk proved a pleasant one. Even with Nebs moaning about the number of potatoes remaining in his master's inventory.
Sewen looked to be made of chalk from a distance. As the group grew closer, Luke could see it was made from white stone and became dazzling bright with the sunlight. Few guards clad head to toe in shining steel armour patrolled the little town in pairs. No more than six guards in the entire area. A grey stone road led from the entranceway and downwards towards the seafront and the stone docks.
Houses of all sizes made from the same white stone, radiated light making the small gardens of flowers and fruit trees dazzle. Down at the docks, large wooden ships rested on the water with the biggest being an old fashioned galleon. Three wooden masts stretched into the sky, but all sails furled and nobody on board gave the ship an eerie vibe. Luke drenched in the sights and sounds of the chirping birds and talking civilians as groups wandered up and down in their tunics.
Not one to complain about easy quests, Luke thought it strange that there was only the single quest in a gorgeous town like Sewen. The quest being to depart from the island. Walking the white stone docks, fishers hauled nets and crates off boats and prepared them for the market in Lunthoria. Buckets of ice went into white containers and the smell of fish and salt air became almost edible. One look at the strange coloured fish and you could tell you were no longer in the real world. Luke looked down at a two-headed Mimarck with four rows of teeth like a piranha. The size of the fish being larger than Luke.
"Dave has his boat as the end, Luke," Nagori pointed to the smallest vessel docked and a tiny yellow exclamation mark.
Never had Luke told anyone his fear of deep water and with Avilien looking as realistic as it did the sea was as deep as any other sea and Luke gulped at the sight of it as he drew closer. When he saw the boat, he would be boarding his face drained of colour. Split patted him on the back and smiled.
"Finally leaving!" Split continued to smile as Luke wanted to walk backwards and away from the boat that was barely larger than a rowing boat.
Parts of the hull had been patched together with scrap metal and bolts and small amounts of water had gotten inside as Luke peered over. In other spots, ductape was used to hold wooden boards together. Where you steered the boat, in a little glass cabin, it had no glass and was covered in rust.
"Top of thee morning to ya!" shouted an unusual Grenchitty with one large fang tooth, an eyepatch, and a little pirates hat on his head to cover a bald spot.
Dave, the Grenchitty jumped onto the side of his boat and licked his black fur as he eyed up the group with his one eye. Nagori, Split, Trinity, and Targoon didn't bat an eye to how unusual all of this was, while Luke seemed to drain of life.
Exclamation mark hovering above his little black eye and two swishing tails signalled that this was the last quest on Lunthoria island. Luke would give anything to face off against a Jagen at that moment instead of boarding that vessel. A Grenchitty like Nebs would be sailing a boat that looked ready to sink and Luke couldn't work out why Split and Nagori were okay with this.
"So are you all going to stare while I have a bath?" Spoke Dave as he sat and lifted his leg to clean unpleasant areas. "Get a good look then," he continued.
