Solemn Room

And there is a piano,
Lying in the end of the left corner
Of the solemn room;
That was once a fantasy loop.

Haven't touched it since you left.
The lights no longer shimmer,
They don't glow on every key,
Don't sing on every touch -
The shine is covered in dull dust.

The large marbled floor;
The glass covered walls;
Majestic window to the smudged evening;
The piano no longer sings.

I never knew how to play it,
Nor do I do now.
It sang with you -
Just like it's resting after you.

Now when touched it,
A song got played by these fingers mine.
Soothing music ran out of it,
Like how the amateur heart loved altruistically.
