When the world couldn't,
When the stars couldn't,
Neither the sun, nor the moon.
The flowers bloomed,
The leaves burnt;
Ashes in wind,
Blossoms in air -
Lips pressed,
Silence everywhere.
The sirens faded, nearing,
The world whirled;
Sobs left the throat,
Tears deserted eyes.
Tranquil grass dancing,
Pain so serene;
A soul that left so long,
Understood the entwined,
Other soul. The rustling of
Those whispers,
Left again the heart, pierced,
In silence, as forever.
"I wish you never understand me,
Never again. Not a single word,
Neither a silent whisper,
Nor the twinkle of my eyes,
Not the slightest tremor of my heart;
May you never understand."- Zayana Cullen
