Childhood Love

An unknown person,
Not a single talk,
Yet previous feelings none,
My heart heard a knock.

Familiar day by day,
Neither did confess.
Bickering always found its way,
Relation got stronger, not less.

Friends made feelings
Confess, blushing cheek,
No longer needed hidings,
Love reached its peak.

Just talks and eye contact,
Not a single touch,
Yet stronger was its impact
Though wasn't alive for much.

A sudden departure,
Heart sank deeper and deeper.
Unknown depression, lonely creature,
True taste of heart break came quicker.

Selfless dreams and desires,
Innocent and harmless dove,
No evil intentions or fires,
That was childhood love.
