3rd person's POV
The team was divided in half and the practice game has been going for 15 minutes now. Hyunjin shoot a 3 points making her friends clap and also the other people inside. She went to the side of the court to drink some water and go back immediately.
"Ya" Hyejoo pushed Yeojin making the others startled
"How many times did you bump me purposely?"
"I didn't bump into you purposely unnie. We're playing basketball and I'm just guarding you" Yeojin explained and their argument became heated. The others watch them with confusion. They're sitting at the other side of the court and they can't hear what they're saying
"You midget" Hyejoo gritted her teeth and hold Yeojin's collar. The girls got up from their seats and decided to approach them
"Hyejoo" Hyunjin tried to calm her down
"Hyejoo stop" Hyunjin removes Hyejoo's hands from Yeojin's collar
"What the frick is wrong with you?" Yeojin fix her collar and look at Hyejoo. The girl just scoffs and turn her back to them
"Hyejoo-yah" Yerim called as the girl walk past them
"Aish" Hyunjin look at Hyejoo's back
"Continue the game" she said and followed the younger girl. She ended up at the rooftop and stare at Hyejoo who's sitting on a bench
"Hey what was that about?" Hyunjin softly asked as she sat down beside her
"Why did you follow me?"
"I know there's something bothering you" they both look at each other
"I'm just exhausted" Hyejoo said and look down
"You ain't fooling anyone here Son Hyejoo. We're friends since freshman year and I can tell there's something bothering you" Hyejoo sighed and rest her back on the bench
"You became hot headed when it comes to Yeojin these days" Hyunjin said the thing she had observed
"Is it about Yerim?" that question caught Hyejoo off guard making her go silent
"So it is about Yerim" Hyunjin has been noticing Hyejoo's gestures to Yerim since freshman year. She even thought that the two is in a relationship but it turns out that they're just bestfriends.
"Yeah" Hyejoo answered, it was almost inaudible but Hyunjin heard it
"You like her" that didn't came out like a question it is more like a statement
"Yes" Hyejoo didn't even deny it
"And she likes Yeojin" she added looking at Hyunjin's eyes
"You can't be so sure about tha---"
"Yerim told me that" Hyejoo cutted Hyunjin off
"She admitted it to me 2 days ago. We were hanging out in her room and then she suddenly told me that she likes her" Hyunjin can see Hyejoo's tears forming
"I always tease you for being in love with a person for almost three years now but look at me" she lets out a bitter chuckle
"I'm in love with my bestfriend for I don't know how long now" Hyunjin feel bad for her friend, she had always known that Hyejoo has something for Yerim but she never asked the girl about it
"Like how can she be so dense and oblivious?" Hyejoo's tears rolls down to her chubby cheeks
"Here" Hyunjin handed her a handkerchief and pats the younger's back
"It just sucks"
