Hyunjin's POV
Smile, Kim Hyunjin. You have to smile.
"Hey babe! I'm with Hyunnie right now!" Heejin said enthusiastically and I tried to make my fake smile look genuine. I went to her side and see my bestie on the screen.
"Annyeong Ryuddaeng"
"Hyunjinie!!!!" her whiskers shows up and it was adorable
"What's with the set up?" she asked when she noticed the background. Think quick, Kim Hyunjin.
"I figured out that you'll call tonight and I know you feel bad that you couldn't take Heejin to the home coming so..." I'm becoming better and better in lying as the days go by
"Jinjja?" I nodded
"You're the best aeongie" she said and I smiled
"Aeong"
"I'll leave you two for a while. Enjoy your virtual date!" I smile at them widely and they both thanked me. As soon as I turn around, my my smile disappeared as my shoulders fell.
I slowly walks away from there and I feel my tears falling down to my cheeks. Why does it have to hurt this bad?
"Why does god have to make you this stupid? It's like he pour a whole goddamn barrel of stupidity to you" I was startled by the voice coming from above. I look up and saw Dahee. I quickly wipe my tears and sniffs.
"I already saw it you stupid cat" she said and pats the space beside her. She's sitting on a branch of a tree that is not so far from the ground. I carefully climb the tree and sat beside her.
"What are you doing here? How do you even manage to get up here?" I said and she slapped my arm
"Are you insulting me or what?" she looks so insulted oh my goodness. She's smaller Nako-chan and hates it when someone tease her because of her height. I just laugh at her and she hands me a can of beer.
"Her girlfriend called?" she asks and I nod slowly. I took a sip of the beer and let out a sigh of relief.
"Why don't you just forget your feelings for her?" she said and I chuckled bitterly.
"If I could then I would have done it three years ago" I said, we went silent and my nose smells a smoke of cigarette
"Ya" I snatched it away from her and throw it away. I did that and receive a smack on the back of my head.
"Aww! What was that for?" I rub the back of my head and pouts
"You know that you're debuting in less than a week and you're still doing that" I said but she just shrugged
"Oh speaking of debuting" she said and I turn my head to her
"Don't tell anyone that I told you about this, okay?" I nodded and look at her intently
"I think you might be able to have your acting debut at the end of the month" she said
"What are you saying? That's impossible, I literally just started my training just a week ago" that's really impossible
"I'm serious! I heard the staffs talking in the meeting room this morning" is she really serious? I swear if this tiny bean is lying I'm gonna send her back to Daegu
"Are you really serious?" she nods
"From what I heard it's a web drama and Wonju-oppa is one of the casts... oh and also Sooji-unnie" she added
If she's really telling the truth then I'm really lucky but if she's just pranking me I'm gonna beat the shit outta her.
