I rest my head on my mom's chest as she sing a lullaby. I feel so secured in her arms... I missed her warmth. I missed her
I scooted closer to her and close my eyes. I can hear my friends snickering making me open my eyes again
"What a baby" I remove my head from mom's chest and look at them
"Fuck off" I received a slap on my arm
"Language Hyunjin" their laughter became louder
"Ya leave her alone" Jungeun-unnie said and turn to me
"Go to sleep" I nodded and go back to my position earlier
"You don't have work eomma?" I asked
"I have" I look at her
"Then why are you here? You should go there" she flicked my forehead
"Because I need to take care of my baby Aeongie" she said it and pinch my cheeks. My friends laughed again and I swear if I'm not sick right now I'm gonna beat their asses.
"I heard you are dating a minor" where did she hear it?
"We're not really dating mom" I whispered
"Eh?"
"She likes her bestfriend and that bestfriend of hers likes Minguri, we're just doing this to make her bestfriend jealous" I whispered again
"But what if you fall?" me???
"That won't happen mom she's just a little sister to me" I said confidently
"Are you sure about that?" I nodded

"Are you really sure that you're okay now?" I nodded and look at my mom
"See? I can move around now. I'm okay now mom" I smiled at her as I stuff my mouth with the food she cooked
"We're gonna take care of her auntie" Jiwoo-unnie speak with her mouth full
"Really? 'Cause it seems like you guys only care about the food" I mumbled and put kimchi in my mouth
"Ya we care about you Hyunjinie" Haseul-unnie said and feed Jungeun-unnie
"If you guys say so... I guess I'll be leaving now" mom kissed the side of my head
"How about me?" Minju whines, aish this girl. Mom chuckled and kiss her head too
"Bye kids" I wave my hand to her and go back to eating. My chest feels so light now. I'm happy I'm okay with my mom now
"Waaaa daebak your mom is such a great cook I wonder what happened to you" Hyejoo said and I gave her a look
"Shut up and just eat before I kick your ass out of my house" this kid
"So Heejin's a part of the squad now?" the lentil spoke
"She's supposed to be part of the squad for a long time now, our only problem back then is these two are not talking to each other" they look at me and at Heejin
"Well I guess they're best buddies now" best buddies
"Right guys?"
"Yeah" we both said
I look at Jiwoo-unnie who's staring at Sooyoung with those heart eyes making me chuckle and clear my throat
"Jiwoo-unnie!" I called her making her startled a little then look at me
"Sooyoung-unnie might melt" I gave her a teasing grin while she panicked and peel her gaze off Sooyoung
