Hyunjin's POV
I just got out from the shower together with Hyejoo and Yeojin who's still not talking to each other. The squad waited for us and we walk out of the building all together. Hyejoo is still quiet so I decided to walk with her.
"Hey" I nudge her
"Is there something wrong?" I asked her as I drink the water Heejin gave me
"I'm sorry about what happened back there" she apologizes
"I wasn't able to control myself, I'm sorry "
"That's fine, we still win you know" I put the bottle in my bag and look ahead of me
"I know but that was so unprofessional of me" she said and look down
"We all have that kind of time, just like Ryujin back in the semi-finals" she then looks at me
"About her... How is she now? Are you guys still talking or what?" she asked and I slowly shakes my head
"She's not responding to any of my texts. She deactivated all of her social media accounts and maybe changed her number too. Maybe Aunt Shin forced her or what" I let out a sigh
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah... I have Heejin by my side and that's more than great" I smiled and she scoffed
"Whipped much?" I playfully hit her arm and chuckles. I look in front of us and watch as Heejin brag about how good am I back there. She even imitates how I shoot the ball and it's so freaking cute.
"You know that you may end up like me right?" Hyejoo asked and I just keep my eyes on Heejin
"Yeah" I answered, I already knew it
"I know how much she loves Ryujin... And I'm happy to help her forget the pain even just for a short time" I'm stupid
"How about you are you okay now?" I saw her looking at Yerim and Yeojin who's happily talking to each other
"No" she answered
"I feel so empty inside" I feel bad for her seriously
"I don't want to see them but it will be unfair for them if I asked them to distance themselves to me and to all of us. I also don't want to tear our friendships apart... That's why I'm doing this"
"Hey you two seems to be in a serious talk!" Jiwoo-unnie decided to walk with us too and start bothering us.
"I want to join the team too~" she said
"Why? You just want to flirt with our teammates!" this unnie
"Yes but I also want to learn how to play basketball!"
"No" Hyejoo and I said at the same time
"A waeeee~" Jiwoo-unnie whines and pout her lips
"Let's just eat at the tteokbokki place there!" she's too cheerful for me and for Hyejoo to handle. She drag the two of us towards the tteokbokki place she's talking about and the others just followed us.
"Are you guys in a relationship or what?" I asked as Sooyoung and Jiwoo-unnie flirts right in front of my tteokbokki
"Umm no" they both answered
"Uhh really?" Jungeun-unnie gave Jiwoo-unnie a look
"Yep we're not dating" she said once again making all of us except the two of them murmur about how they flirts all the time.
