Hyunjin's POV
My hands are sweating due to my nervousness as I walk towards our table.
"H-hey Heejin" I called her and I got the two girl's attention
"Yes?" she asked and I mentally scolded myself for just staring at her instead of opening my mouth to ask her for a dance
"C-can... Can I-i" why the fuck am I stuttering? Now I got all of my friends' attention. I think they got a hint of what am I trying to do and gave me lenny faces which added more to my nervousness
"Can you what?" I brought my gaze back to Heejin and wipe my palms on the fabric of my pants
"C-can I excuse Chaewon for a while? We're just gonna dance" I saw how their expressions turn to a confused one
"Oh sure" she said and I look at Chaewonie
"Let's go" I took Chae's hand and Hyejoo suddenly stand up
"What the fuck unnie?" what? Why is mad?? ohh OHHHHHH
I gave her a teasing smile and she realized what she did and sit back down. I pulled Chae up from her chair and look at Hyejoo.
"Don't worry I'm not gonna snatch her from you" I mouthed and she looks down, trying to hide her red cheeks.
I pulled Chae in the middle and put my hands on her waist while she hesitantly put her arms on my shoulders while glancing at Hyejoo.
"So... You two are a thing now?" I gave her a teasing smirk and she just slap my arm
"Shut up" she said and I chuckled
"Anyways why did you ask me to dance all of a sudden?" she asks and I scratch my nape
"I'm supposed to ask Heejin but I got so nervous" I said and she then laughs
"Where the brave Hyunjin I know?" she said while still laughing
"I don't know..."
"So you really like her that much huh?" I nodded
"Since when?" she asked and I look down
"Since the first day of high school" I answered truthfully
"Wait... That was like three years ago... You like her for three years now and you still haven't confess yet!?"
"Lower your goddamn voice someone might hear you" I said and look at the pairs dancing near us
"I haven't told you that she's Ryujin girlfriend?" I showed her a pained smile
"No shit, Hyun" I chuckled bitterly
"Ryujin's gonna comeback next year... She'll be taken away from me again" I said while looking at Heejin who's having a conversation with Jiwoo-unnie
"Then what are you doing? Go ahead and make the remaining year memorable for the both of you. Make the best out of it. I'm not telling you to snatch her away from Ryujin but go ahead and make her feel that she's a very special person to you" wow I never heard these words from Chae before
We stopped dancing and she drag me back to our table and push me in front of Heejin.
"Hey Heej"
"Wanna dance?" I offered my hand to her and she gladly accepted it. I lead her towards where the other people are dancing and touch her waist with my fingertips only. I look at my friends who's gesturing me to hold her waist firmly. Sooyoung-unnie make Jiwoo-unnie stand up and place her hands on my cousin's waist.
"Just like this" she mouthed but my attention was brought back to the girl in front of me when she held my hands and make it hold her waist firmly then wrapped her arms around my neck as we start to dance.
We look at each other... She smiled and nothing else matters.
