3rd person's POV

It's afternoon and they went for a swim at the beach. All of them are curious about Hyunjin's busted lip but no one dared to ask about it.

Hyunjin asked Heejin for a walk and the girl gladly come with Hyunjin. They're walking on the sand and Hyunjin take Heejin's hand but the girl take her hand back from the cat.

Instead of being sad, Hyunjin smiled proudly and when they reached the farthest area of the beach, she turned around to face Heejin.

"I got something to tell you" Hyunjin said and Heejin humms gesturing Hyunjin to continue.

"I like you, Heekki" she didn't waste any time and said it to Heejin right away.

"Sorry" Heejin said as her tears are building up at the corner of her eyes.

"I'm the one who got rejected but why are you the one who's crying?" Hyunjin said and chuckled.

"I'm sorry, Hyunjinie" Heejin apologized once again and her tears falls down to her cheeks.

"It's okay, dumbass" Hyunjin said and smile.

"Can you at least hug me?" the younger asked and Heejin hugged her tightly. Both of them are crying, one is because of pain and the other one is because of guilt.

"You said you hate me but now you like me?" Heejin said and sniffs. Hyunjin laughed while crying and anyone who will see them might think that they're both crazy.

"I would be lying is I say that never had a crush on you especially when we were in freshman year" Heejin said and all Hyunjin can feel right now is pain and regret. If she only had the courage to confess to her then maybe she will be Heejin's girlfriend and not Ryujin.

"I'm sorry, Hyun. I just love Ryujin so much" she said and Hyunjin sobs. Heejin rubs her back using her hand and she can't help but to cry too.

"I know that... and I'm happy to know that, Heejinie. Please take care of her" Hyunjin said and broke the hug.

"Don't worry, I will take a very good care of her" they smile at each other and stay there for a while to calm down their selves.

Ryujin look at the two figure nearing their area and the both of them have a smile on their faces while their cheeks have tear stains. Everyone looks at their direction and they can see Hyunjin's tears falling down to her cheeks.

"I told you she don't like me" Hyunjin said and that's when Ryujin realized that Heejin choose her. Ryujin got up from her sitting position and pull her best friend into a comforting hug.

"I'm sorry"

"Why are you apologising again?? It's okay. I'm okay" Hyunjin said while her tears are falling down as she hug Ryujin back.

"Just promise me that you two will take care of each other" Hyunjin said and pulled away from the hug. Ryujin and Heejin stand beside each other and Hyunjin smiled at them.

"Promise" the couple said and Hyunjin's smile got wider.

She wipe her tears and laugh at herself. Jiwoo went to her cousin and hug her tight as give her kisses on her cheeks.

"It'll be okay, hmm? Don't cry, Hyunnie" the older said and Hyunjin nodded. She composed herself and smile.

"Thanks, Jiwoo-unnie"

Jiwoo let go of Hyunjin and pat the girl's head. Hyunjin look at the screen of her phone and look at her friends.

"Looks like I have to go now" she said

"Can you manage to go alone? I can accompany you" Jinsoul said but the girl shakes her head.

"Just stay here, unnie. I can manage and besides my manager will fetch me here" she said, she have to leave this afternoon because she still have a schedule tomorrow morning.

"Take care guys and also make sure that this kid will go home safely" she said and look at Dahee.

"I'm not a kid anymore!"

"But your height-" Hyunjin was about to tease the idol but she's already glaring at her making her stop.

"Just kidding"

"And for my besties" she said and face Heejin and Ryujin.

"Stay strong" she said and left the beach. She went to their room and enter the shower... and that is where she breaks down.
