Hyunjin's POV
"Eh? Where's Chae?" I asked Heejin as soon as the door shut. The boys already left and said they'll just wait outside my unit.
"She said she have something to talk about with Chaer so we suggested that we should exchange and I agreed" she said and I humm in reply. I started driving and I see Chaeryeong's car following us.
"So... Are you and Ryujin good or nahh? You seemed cool while hanging out with them" I strike a conversation with her so it won't be awkward.
"We're good, we ended in a good term and we're good friends now" she said and I can feel her stare.
"How about Jisu?" I asked
"Actually she was the first one to approach me when we first saw each other. She's so kind and genuine and for me she really deserves a Shin Ryujin and Ryu deserves Jisu. I think they're made for each other" she said with a smile on her face. I take a quick look at her and I can't see nothing but true happiness in her eyes.
"How about you and Dahee?" she suddenly asks
"I wasn't really surprised when the dating news was released to the media" she added
"Just fine I guess? I don't really know... She became so much possessive these days and at first it was cute but I'm getting sick of it" I said with all honesty.
"Why can't you let go of her?"
That's exactly what I am thinking about... Why can't I? Is it because I love her? Or I am just used to having her beside me?
"It's okay not to answer Hyun" she said and I saw that she gave me a small smile in my peripheral view.
"I actually don't know what to answer to that question" I'm making a fool out of myself
"Stupid, right?" I said and lightly chuckles.
"No, it's not stupid. I know how hard it is to let go of someone" right
"But if you really need to... then you have to" I felt a light pat on my head and memories start flashing back to me. I miss those head pats...
"We're here" I park my car and we got out. I took a hold of the sleeve of her sweater and bring her with me.
I saw the dudes outside my condo unit and the girls are just behind us. I enter my passcode and open the door. We take off our shoes and walked in.
"Oh..." she's here
"Hi babe" she gave me her sweetest smile and turns to my friends. How I wish you can only smile like that when it's me.. I'm so stupid for letting myself drown into your smiles.
She greeted them politely with a smile on her face but I know that there's something behind that smile.
"You didn't tell me you're with them" she said and I scratch my nape.
"I forgot I'm sorry" I said and give her an apologetic smile.
"Let me just borrow her for a while" she held my hand and pull me to my room. I close the door and she let go of me.
"What do you wanna talk about, Hee?" I asked and sit on my bed. She just stare at me and then let out a chuckle.
"You forgot really?" she look at me with disbelief
"What did I forget?" I asked, genuinely confused.
"It's our anniversary, Hyun"
"Yet you didn't even bother to send me a single message"
I laugh out loud and asked
"Isn't it your monthsary with Chaeri too?"
