Hyunjin's POV
"Lemme guess... You started the fire right?" it was more of a statement than a question
"Kim Hyunjin?" she look at me and I flash her a smile
"Miss me Chaewon-ah?" she fake gags and I laugh
"So am I right? You're the one who set up the fire?" I asked but instead of her answering an angry wolf appears
"I fucking hate my life!!!"
"Omo what happened to your face Hyejoo-yah?" I asked and she glares at Chaewon
"Why don't you ask this stupid girl?" oooff she's mad mad, her face is also covered with black dust looking like a charcoal
"I'm not stupid!" Chae shouted at her
"I told you what you're doing is wrong but you still did it now look at me and the lab!" Hyejoo spat at her
"I didn't know it will result to that okay!?" so I am right
"I will forever hate Ms Choi for pairing me with her" Hyejoo mumbles and look at me
"Where did you go? We were looking for you" she said
"Somewhere" I said shortly
"Your parents said they'll wait for you in your house" Hyejoo said
"Can I come over to your house tonight?" I asked her
"Nahh my sister's girlfriend is coming over tonight and you surely don't want to hear unholy things and I think you should talk to them you know" oh yeah hell nahh there's one time I come over to Hyejoo's house to play video games and have a sleepover then Byulyi her older sister brought her girlfriend Yongsun home. It's already 3 in the morning but we still can hear moans and scream from Byul-unnie's room. We had to jump out of the window and barge into Yerim's room. Yerim is Hyejoo's neighbor so we didn't have to walk for miles. We sleep in Yerim's bed and pray that we will forget those unholy things we heard.
"I'll just ask Haseul-unnie later"
"Don't you think it's time for you to talk to them unnie?" I turn my head to her
"I'm shocked to know that they're your parents and I finally realized why all of these years of us being friends I still haven't met your parents. It maybe a hell for you and for Minju but don't you think it's time for a talk with them?" her parents are also divorced and I don't remember how many times we ditched class to drink her problems away that time
"I don't know" I muttered and sigh

"Hyunjin" I heard my name as soon as I step a foot inside our house. I look at the two person standing there
"Not now please" I said coldly and avoid an eye contact with them. I make my way to the kitchen to get some water but I heard my name being called again
"Hyunjin-ah..."
"Minjeong-ssi. I said not now please" I heard the two of them sighed
"Call us whenever you're ready alright?" my dad said before they leave. I pour some water into a glass and finish it in one gulp
Why am I like this? I want to fix my relationship with them but I keep pushing them away
