Hyunjin's POV
"Hyumin-ah" I tried stopping her from crying but it didn't work
"Stop crying Nam Hyumin" it's getting annoying
"Ya Hyuminie you want ice cream?" I heard a voice behind me and I look at Heejin. The crying stopped and Hyumin nodded.
"Hyunjin-unnie is gonna buy you some ice cream, right Hyunjinie?" Heejin look at me and tilt her head to the side, pointing the kid.
"Yeah I'm gonna buy you ice cream just don't cry, okay?" this kid
"Okay" she said and raise her arms. I pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck. I didn't experience this with Minju so all of these are new to me.
"We just have to wait for five minutes, okay?" she nodded
Five minutes later, the bell rings and I went to the parking lot together with Hyumin and Heejin. I drove to the park and bought ice cream for the three of us. We sat on the bench and the moment Hyumin finished her ice cream, she ran towards the mini playground.
"Ryujin called me last night..." Heejin said and I feel a pang in my chest
"Really?" she humms
"Her mom took her phone and other electronic devices. She just sneak out her phone last night and the middle of our talking, her mom caught her. She was supposed to call you too but yeah shit happened" I don't know what to feel
"I want to visit her in LA" I said cuz it's true
"But I don't know her address" we both sigh
I hate this.
"She said she's gonna come back here soon... She's gonna study here in college" I'm about to wake up from this dream
"Really?" I tried to sound enthusiastic. I feel so bad for being sad because of it... Ryujin is still my bestfriend... Why am I like this?
"Yeah by the way do you already choose a university?" she asks and I chuckled
"I'm not going to college" I said that caught her in shock
"What?"
"I'm gonna pursue acting" yep that's true. That's what my parents want. I want to be on the national basketball team but they won't let me.
"Wait... Are you serious?" I nodded and look at my little sister who's busy playing.
"Daebak" I chuckles and look at her
"You're messing with me, aren't you?" I shake my head
"I'll start training in my senior year" I'm gonna train under grandpa's entertainment company and I don't know how long. I'll just go with the flow.
"I can't believe I'm friends with a future actress" she mumbles and I chuckled again.
"I'm still not sure about this... There's a possibility that I might back out and just study" yep especially when I didn't really want this in the first place.
"Why would you though? I'm sure you're gonna be a great actress" she gave me a smile that melts my kokoro
"And I will still be your number one fan... I will always be your number one supporter" stop doing this to me, Jeon Heejin.
