Hyunjin's POV
Before I even hop on my bike, a ding was heard from my phone.
"Wait a sec" I took it out of my pocket and saw my mom's message. My eyes watered at the message she sent me.
"Is there something wrong?" Heejin asked so I quickly look away and blink the tears away.
"Aniya" I hop on my bike and wait for her to ride on. She did and I feel her hands snaking around my waist and wrapped it firmly there. I would be so happy right now if I didn't open that message.
She's getting married on Friday and she wants me and Minju to be there. I want to be happy for her but is there really no chance for us to be complete again? I'm sure dad still loves her.
"Hyunjin-ah" I heard my name being called
"N-ne?"
"Are you sure there's nothing bothering you?" it's obvious from her voice that she is worried about me
"Shall we go somewhere? I don't wanna go home yet" I waited for her answer
"Okay sure" I started the engine and drive towards my favorite place in this town.
We reached this cliff I used to go when I was younger. The view here is breathtaking especially at night.
"Daebak" I look over Heejin and see the lights reflecting on her eyes. I smiled and then do a poker face when she turns at me.
"It's beautiful Hyunjin-ah" she look at the view in front of us again
"Very beautiful" I said while looking at her. I shook my head and sat on the grass. She did the same and I open one of the beer in a can that we bought before heading here.
"Did Wonyoung told you the truth about us?" I ask and take a sip of the cold beer
"What truth?"
"We're not dating" I said and she look at me with shocked pikachu face
"What do you mean?"
"She likes Yujinie and we're doing this to make her jealous" I explained and she went silent, maybe she's still processing it
"That brat, she didn't even told me" I chuckled
"It's just me, her, Jungeun-unnie, Yuri and mom who knows about this" she humms
"What was the message about?" she asked and I look away
"Come on tell me" I sigh
"My mom is getting married on Friday" I felt her hand slowly caressing my back
"Are you going to be there?" I look at her
"Will you come with me?" we stare at each other's eyes
"Okay sure" she smiled
"Really?" she nodded
"Thank you, bunny" I said sincerely
"For what?" she chuckles and get the beer from me
"Since Ryujin let you're always there for me" I don't want to be this dramatic but yeah
"Same goes to you, stupid" she said
"Oh come on we both know that you're more stupid than me"
"Excuse you? You're the most stupid here" she push me playfully
"You're the most stupid person I know"
"Shut up" she said and lean on my shoulder
"We should go here more often" I stare at her
"Okay"
